Is there a religious reason for the head scarf? I can understand cultural or environmental (keeping you covered from the sun). I was wondering if there was any religious reasons behind it.

first i must say that i know that the davinci code movie is just a movie, but i hear that it is an actual code. i have found proof that it is false.

in the davinci code, when they are talking about the last supper painting and the royal blood line, Leigh claims that the gospel of Phillip says 'and the companion of the savior is mary magdalene'. i have read it and it says no such thing. here's the think to support my statement.

Any thoughts on "Guilt" found in the bible? Like some scriptures or people in the bible who had to deal with this? I'm trying to write something. Right now I can think of how Judas felt guilty and so he killed himself. Anything else?

Can you show in the Qur'an where it says you must sacrifice an animal during Eid? If it says you must sacrifice an animal, how is the sacrifice done? If it doesn't say you must sacrifice an animal, why is it done anyway?

Example 2:
The complex mechanical devices in watches are designed by humans. Humans contain complex devices, therefore they must be designed.

why was a new covenant created to over rule some parts of the old law in the old testement eg. in the books of moses declares an eye for an eye, and the teachings of jesus states to turn the other cheek, and what about solomon and David who had many wives and concubines yet having sex with them was not adultery or fornication but the new testement teachings mandates monogamy?

I used to be a non-believer. I took the theory of evolution as scientific fact. But then something happend. I realised that evolution could not possibly be true and that therefore a creator must exist. I was feeling blue, walking through the town, being drowned in the rain. I walked for hours trying to think of some solutions to the many problems that weighed me down. I looked into everyshop window to see if a shiny or colourful object might catch my eye and distract from my miseries. And then I heard a noise. I turned around and saw it. A POODLE.
Are you telling me something as crap as a poodle could have survived the survival of the fittest? I don't think so Pope-On-A-Rope! You never see them in the history books until that last century, absolute proof that every so often God creates something new (Though not always impressive) and bungs it our way.
But hey! What do you think?

I don't want to hear about gardening, and I am certainly not going to go over to gardening and start telling those people to quit cramming gardening down my throat.Just imagine this if you will please: I am tired of you people who think you know all about gardening.Who are you to tell me it needs water and how can you prove that.And don't get that garden book out, your always quoting that book,find something else. If Christians are so wrong and bad for what they believe...why is it you see more non believing atheist trying their hardest to badmouth the beliefs of a Christian. I just don't see a true Christian doing this.

Thanks "pastor Billy" for that answer apparently you know me better then I know myself - I was really trying to be friendly about getting some answers but maybe you didnt get to the bottom of my question where it said dont be offended - everyone else seemed to think it was an ok question - funny how the priest was the one to try and call me out - oh well - but you did get it right I am a Christian - a nondemoninational christian, how come you couldnt tell that part - oh well - but thank you for the compliment a "trainined non-catholic" well since I've only been "born again" (I know how Catholics love that term) less then 2 years I guess I'm doing ok

People always want to denounce homosexuality on the basis that the Bible says it's wrong. Isn't premarital sex wrong? Isn't lying wrong? Why don't people protest that along with abortion & homosexuality?
