If Christians are so wrong and bad for what they believe...why is it you see more non believing atheist trying their hardest to badmouth the beliefs of a Christian. I just don't see a true Christian doing this.

The Christians would be the first to seek converts from the Jews, and try to form an alliance to take out the Muslims. The Jews would be reluctant, considering the Christians as bad as the Muslims, and would play it neutral. The Muslims, thinking the reluctance of the Jews was evidence that they were near converting, would seek to convert the Jews. The Jews would then ally with Christians and at least knock Islam out of the picture. Atheists, angry that the Theists were judging each other, would enter the picture and judge all of them, and then the Christians would duke it out with them. The non believers would side with the Atheists and the weak Christians would convert to, and revive, Islam. The true Christians, meanwhile, would be caught up in the rapture and everyone else would continue arguing and converting each other.

Christians aren't bad for what they believe in. What irritates some is when Christians try to pass laws or issues for ALL people based on THEIR religion (i.e. abortion, death penalty).
Also, Christians say if you don't believe in God or follow his word, you won't go to heaven (or rather go to hell). This suggests that Christians view you as a bad person who doesn't care about others if you are an atheist. I think everybody should be entitled to have an open mind, and believe in whatever they choose.

If faith is a good method to know the existence of God, why is the same method not used in a court of law to determine who murdered someone? Before you send someone to die, isn’t it a good idea to make sure it’s the right person? Should you pick anybody off the street and ask them to prove they did not commit the murder, and if they don’t know what you are talking about, they are obviously guilty? Should the burden of proving you did not do the murder rest on you or on he who claims it was you and accuses you? If I start claiming that I feel God within myself, shouldn’t I show you some evidence? Or since you don’t know what I am talking about, you are obviously deaf, and have no eyes to see, no introspective ability, so you must be obviously illogical, and all I have to tell you is “Pray and have faith!.”

In the Middle Ages someone who couldn’t prove that the Devil DID NOT talk to him, was guilty anyway and had to be tortured and killed. We could still do that experiment and just pick anyone off the street and tell him or her that WE KNOW that Satan has possessed him/her. We KNOW, not by proof of evidence, but because the Blue Angel spoke to us. How about that method in a court of law? It would cost expensive lawyers, and it would save the taxpayers money.

Since when it comes to practical application faith is the same in every religion, why don’t all faithful join together in Iran and form the new country of the AlmightyAllahJehovaShivaVishnu Incorporated?

Who are you to judge who's a 'true Christian' or not?
The only time I see Atheists badmouthing Christians is when the Christians start it.

Because many atheists have had bad prior experiences with Christians who have selfish motivations. Unfortunately, many people who are persnickety, arrogant, and ignorant about the feelings of others often are found preaching a weekly sermon behind the lectern on the podium.

It is very sad, because thousands of people each year fail to understand and appreciate the invaluable internal peace that Jesus Christ offers to anyone who is willing to accept him into their lives.

Well, if you always say that any christian who bad mouths an atheist isn't a true christian, than yes, there are no true christians doing it. I could just as easily say there are not true atheists badmouthing christians.

I bed they would consider themselves true christians.

But there are so few true christians....that walk their talk....in this world. There are plenty of christians on here that badmouth, bash, insult and worse to anyone who is not christian.

Every coin has 2 sides....flip it over and see the mote in your own eye (or group) as the case may be.

Oh pull your head out of your @$$. In case you haven't noticed, this place is one huge spitting contest over who's ideas are right when they're judged by two wholely different standards -- the religious judge by faith, the nonreligious by evidence, and the two systems of thought are wholely incompatible. You've got as many Christians bashing the atheists as the atheists bashing the Christians.

Oh boohoo, you're so persecuted.

I thought, according to your Bible... you were supposed to consider that a GOOD thing? If you're gonna pick up your Bible to thump it at me, pick up the d@mn cross with it. It's so easy to thump your Bible but the moment you have to do the slightest genuine work or thinking, you start whining that you're so oppressed and everyone is against you.

Grow up and grow a spine.

I have seen "christians" doing this before, but never to the extreme lengths that an atheist or non-believer goes to... i do agree with you, it is more common (at least on yahoo answers) for an atheist to try their absolute hardest to take every chance to shoot down the existance of a so-called-God, than for a Christian to do the same. We try it our of love, theirs seem to come from a different place. but, we all have the freedom of choice and we all make mistakes, and say things out of hurt/anger. Regardless of our religious beliefs.
