You'd think if god were able to heal it all on his own with his unlimited power you might want to forego the hospital and save some money, time, and not have to put yourself through all of those painful treatments.

Germany was 51% Lutheran, 45% Roman Catholic. I am sure most of them went to church every Sunday. However, they liked Adolf too. Millions showed up at his rallies. The fought for him, and worked as guards in the concentration camps. Many clergyman wrote articles supporting Hitler, that exist to this day. The industrialists that backed him, were also Christians.

It's so romantic! seven brothers kidnap seven women and hold them hostage until they agree to marry them! Its kind of like passive resistant rape when you think about it--the way real love was meant to be! The bible makes it perfectly clear that we girls don't need choices--that's a lesson every gal needs to learn!

I would like to have a handfasting ceremony. I want it to be a personal ceremony. My partner is Christian and we will get married in a church when the time is right, but now I (I follow Druidry) would love a personal, private handfast, and he is keen on the idea too.

Any useful links so I can plan everything? I'm having trouble...

Some groups say you have to have a magical name, some others say it's not necessary. You don't have to share the name itself, but please share your story of how it came to you or whether you believe a magical name is necessary. Thanks :)

Did you know that most of you (more than 90%)when answering or asking questions that support your theory of our existance, seem to have more faith then fact. You yourselves do not have the ability to do the so called scientific studies to gather information for making your decision. You have read or heard someone else explain why they believe in evolution and you fall for it without doing the work. Then you take this beleif system of yours and you use it to critisise people who think differently. People who have accepted creationism as the explanation for our existence. Why don't you spend at least as much time looking into other explanations, as you have given to the theory (and that is exactly all it is) of evolution???

As another possible example, as you know the ritual of baptism was a carryover from the ancient Greek custom of suddenly immersing a wannabe disciple's head in water and then whispering "When you want to be my disciple as earnestly as you want air, then you shall be my desciple."
Do rituals and doctrines of Christianity generally come from Pagan and ancient tradition, and can we get more details on this fascinating stuff; or am I just trying to conjur up doubt and suspicion, and does God disapprove of my question?

Take a look at this quote from Steven Hawkings.

". . . it might seem that if we observe all other galaxies to be moving away from us, then we must be at the center of the universe. There is, however, an alternate explanation: the universe might look the same in every direction as seen from any other galaxy, too. This, as we have seen, was Friedmann's second assumption. We have no scientific evidence for, or against this assumption. We believe it only on grounds of modesty: it would be most remarkable if the universe looked the same in every direction around us, but not around other points in the universe . . . ." Steven Hawkings

Note: second assumption Friedmann's says the space is expanding with no center.

So if space is expanndgin, wouldn't the galaxies and solar systms expand also and break apart? What sould be left of the universe? If the universe expands at any point, then could to points collide?
