There is only one creation account in Genesis which describes the physical world.

But God's second creation is stupendously more wonderful in that from sinful man He has created a new righteous man in Christ Jesus.

To enter the kingdom of heaven you must be born anew, of the Spirit, for flesh and blood does not inherit the kingdom of God.

God's promise of redemption is found in Genesis, prophecies foreshadowing the Christ - Gen 3/15, 5/24, 9/26-27,12/3,7, 14/18, 17/19, 21/12, 22/8,18, 26/2-5, 49/10 as well as throughout the Old Testament.

Further God's covenant with Abram was made between God and God's Son, a descendant of Abram, putting Abram to sleep since only God could accomplish the new covenant, Gen 15/17

And Abraham's willingness to offer up his Son Isaac, believing God was able to raise him from the dead, foreshadows the new creation in Christ whom God did raise from the dead and who was the true seed of Abraham that was able to accomplish this new creation, Gen 22.

Thus there is a second creation account hidden in Genesis and which describes the new creation of God in Christ Jesus. The first is earthly, the second is heavenly.

There is really on one creation story. However, just for the theologians that like to image that there are two stories:

The first is found in Genesis chapter 1, where creation is described as occurring though 6 days. Each one ends with "and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and morning, the ___ day".

The second account of creation is found in Genesis chapter 2, where it details the creation of Adam and Eve, and describes the introduction of sin.

The first creation story should be seen as a comprehensive account of all of creation. The second as an intimate account of humanity.

There is only one;

Chapter 1 through chapter 2, verse 3, after telling about the creation of the material heavens and earth (Ge 1:1, 2), provides an outline of further creative activities on the earth. Chapter 2 of Genesis, from verse 5 onward, is a parallel account that takes up at a point in the third “day,” after dry land appeared but before land plants were created. It supplies details not furnished in the broad outline found in Genesis chapter 1.

In the original Hebrew, the first Genesis story refers to divine beings collectively called the Elohim, which translates to 'Gods' or 'Pantheon', whereas the second Genesis story refers to Yahweh, a single god. Yahweh was responsible for the creation of the Garden of Eden, but the Elohim were responsible for the creation of the world. Eden, Adam and Eve were Yahweh's little side project after he (as part of Elohim) created the rest of the universe.

The main difference is that whilst the first bit was a collaborative effort, Yahweh had his own gig running on the side.

Genesis 1. is in historical chonological order.
Genesis 2. is a description of events, not in chronological order.

One of the frequent objections for allowing the teaching of creation in public schools is that if "creationism" is taught, all other different cultural stories concerning creation would have to be brought into a science classroom. This is a classic example of a "red herring" argument. This strategy of those opposed to exposing students to the scientific evidence for creation is done to paint the scientific evidence for creation as a religious concept. Evolutionists hope to equate the scientific evidence for creation with ancient creation myths, such as the absurd idea that the entire universe hatched from the egg of a large bird.

The primary desire of creationists is to have science taught in science classrooms. Unfortunately, that is not what is happening today. The current situation is that minor changes in animals (variations which are already encoded onto the DNA of the creature) are being presented as proof that one type of creature turned into a completely different creature. This is a religious belief, not science. Science is based on testable observations, and the creation theory, unlike ancient mythologies, is very testable.

The creation theory states that complex ordered information requires an intelligent source. This is exactly what we find in the DNA molecule, and if the same type of code were found coming from outer space, it would immediately be recognized as having had an intelligent source.

The creation model predicts that there is a limit to natural genetic variation. In other words, one type of creature does not turn into a completely different type with totally, newly-functioning features. This has been experimentally confirmed as the mutation rate of fruit flies has been accelerated by millions of times and nothing new has ever developed. Furthermore, no links between major forms of animals have been found in the fossil record. This confirms that biological variation has always been limited.

The creation theory states that new forms of animals do not just appear and over the last millennium hundreds of creatures have disappeared, while no new type of organism (such as a bumble bee or mosquito) have formed. New viruses and microbes result from the rearrangement of information already present on existing microbes. This does not tell us where these organisms came from or how they could turn into completely different type of organism.
The creation theory says that there has been a massive worldwide flood which would have buried and fossilized creatures by the billions. This is exactly what we find and there is abundant geologic evidence supporting the reality of this relatively recent catastrophe.

Every scientific experiment ever performed has shown that chemicals fail to react in ways which result in the formation of living organisms. This is what the creation model predicts.
Unlike all other creation myths, the creation account and worldwide flood described in Genesis is full of testable, observable predictions which can be explored in science classrooms.

Unfortunately, evolutionism holds a firm grip upon most of the scientific community because science has been redefined to eliminate the possibility of an intelligent Creator. It's time to give students all the evidence and let them decide for themselves which theory holds up best under close scientific scrutiny.

I presume you're addressing financial disaster one million-2:4 and Genesis 2:5 onward. the 1st varieties a very good blueprint for coming up a liveable planet in a photo voltaic equipment. the 2d describes the introduction of all issues in the previous they ever existed interior the actual and mortal universe. satirically, they are bearing directly to the same introduction - that it took God six of "his" days (oftentimes used as epochs) to place at the same time the non secular introduction. . . that not one of the 1st 2 chapters surely cope with a actual introduction in this mortal existence.

Genesis 1 is a general overview of the creation of all things. Genesis 2 is a narrowed down more detailed view of God's creation of Adam and Eve. They don't contradict each other if you read them carefully.

There is only one. When the Books of the Bible were divided, it was done haphazardly, by the Catholics to sow as much confusion as possible. The first chapter of Genesis does not end until chapter two verse three. As for the rest of the chapter the Hebrews had an odd way of writing, sometimes they would say a thing and then give the background for it.

There is only one creation account. Chapter 2 just goes back and adds details that chapter one left out, such as the way God created the first man and woman. Both chapters harmonize with each other.
