Although it is true that a Certain Pope signed a concordance with Hitler, many Catholics were anti-Nazi and others pro-Nazi the last Pope preached against the Nazis in Poland. Now if the Poles would have been pro-Nazi mabey he would have been to. History teach us that the Catholic Church always plays both sides of the fence. Now if you are implying that the Pope wanted to exterminate the Jews as opposed to getting better prices for farmers produce or rebuilding Germany's defensive capability's or throwing off the shackles of the treaty of Versailles, than I'd like to see a source on that.
And reguarding the current Pope quoting a Byzantium source thats applicable to Islam today, well that's just good scholarship. If your going to be mad at the Pope it should be because his organization's heretical theology-that salvation comes from a church and not from Christ the most High to the individual man or woman or child, and by doing so he has help satan condem Millions upon millions of souls over the life of that church.(Hell)
But what can one expect from the American left (progressive), they are themselves just closet Nazis who only cry out for free speech when it is their speech and then cry out against another for doing the same thing. Is this not uther hypocrisy, yea, and you wouldn't have it any other way.

The WIkipedia article is somewhat wonderful: i advise it to you. There are somewhat some theories as to the position it comes from, and this is been used in a lot of techniques, typically correct with faith, with techniques from many diverse cultures in Asia, North u . s . a . of america and elsewhere, for no less than 10,000 years. that is a shame that the emblem has become so heavily linked with the evil which Nazi-style of wondering represents.

Not just the Pope, plenty of others like to dress up from time to time, like some Middle Easterners living by the sea.

You are obviously one of those Secular/Progressives/ The Pope was never a nazi - Your comments are insulting / They are not funny / Strange how you say nothing "funny" about the muslim extremists, burning churches and murdering a nun!

I don't agree with what he said and I don't think he is a remarkable human being. However I don't think he really ever sympathized with fascism in any way if for no other reason than the fact that it was so totally anti-christian.
