they get less thumbs up and the pagan ones always have their supporters giving props to their answers. Are the Christians too caught up in their own opinions to support someone else's answer?

Wow they tell you the meaning of Christmas, and then, right before your eyes, the Christmas tree evolves from a broken down old tree to a beautiful work of art. Just like a TV network to come up with a way to make both sides happy.

And that Snoppy, he never says a word does he! But he sure can FLY that dog house like a champion pilot.

Larry started off by saying to them both, we all know the details of why you each believe what you believe. The people with us tonight are here because they have knowledge of both beliefs systems. So my first question, and I'll let the evolutionist answer it first, how can you be sure, without having a person who was here at the beginning of it all, that what you believe is accurate?

Answer; Well Larry we have so many scientist that have given the results of their research, we know its true, its as if they were actually here from the beginnning, even though we know they were not.

And your answer creationist; Larry we have someone who has been here since the beginning and he has a reputation for having control over all life and can even make a fig tree wilt in a moment. So you see, its His Word, against their science.

btw, this Larry King was not the same guy on cnn, his wife is a mormon and we wanted someone neutral so we got someone with the same name.

Have you red it?

Dan Brown’s wildly popular novel The Da Vinci Code postulates that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married. What do you think?
Could a man be a normal man and still be Divine?

The earth isn't 6000 years old

Mary wasn't a virgin

No one comes back from the dead

Jesus didn't levitate up to space (or where ever heaven is supposed to be)

And nothing is wrong with gay people

Why are people still falling for this gag?

I've gone into other subjects on Y!A and questions don't seem to get pushed down the list as fast as in this subject. I honestly think it's because so many post here only to ridicule Christians and other religions more than ask an honest question about the religions themselves! What a big waste of time and energy!! If people don't want to be in a part of a religion, why do they need to make fun of the people who have chosen to be in religion? What’s your take?

Is it hard to convince your children to be open minded towards Christians. As Pagan parents, we have taught our children to have tolerance towards other religions. Unfortunately, the negative comments and pushy nature of many of the Christian children they've met at school has soured them towards Christians in general. They basically feel that if most Christians despise our religion and feel it's o.k. to try to frighten us into converting (i.e. "you'll burn in hell"), that Christians in general SHOULD NOT be afforded the open mindedness that they would give to those of less judgmental spiritualities. What do think? Are our kids right? Is asking them to give Christians the benefit of the doubt asking too much of them. Are we, as their parents being too naive and open minded where those of the Christian faith are concerned? Anybody else having this happen in their family?

I recently had a confrontation with an extremely angry individual. I stood my ground and that evening carried on as usual. But that weekend I begun to feel really sick in my stomach as I did when she had been shouting I felt as though a knife was searing across my stomach.
This horrible feeling lasted for more than a week and then appeared to move up to my chest where it is a dull ache but I am better able to tolerate it.

Two nights in a row I awoke with a start and I felt as though I had been hit in the chest with a hammer.

I have felt this way to a lesser extent for example when I have dealt with someone who dislikes me. A reader once said that I was too open and this is why I use to be constantly tired for no apparent reason.

I am hoping someone can explain what I am experiencing and can help me protect myself.

New (genetically new) species have arisen in historical times. For example:

* A new species of mosquito, the molestus form isolated in London's Underground, has speciated from Culex pipiens (Byrne and Nichols 1999; Nuttall 1998).

* Helacyton gartleri is the HeLa cell culture, which evolved from a human cervical carcinoma in 1951. The culture grows indefinitely and has become widespread (Van Valen and Maiorana 1991).

* A similar event appears to have happened with dogs relatively recently. Sticker's sarcoma, or canine transmissible venerial tumor, is caused by an organism genetically independent from its hosts but derived from a wolf or dog tumor (Zimmer 2006; Murgia et al. 2006).

* Several new species of plants have arisen via polyploidy (when the chromosome count multiplies by two or more) (de Wet 1971). One example is Primula kewensis (Newton and Pellew 1929).

I think we all evolved around Darwin's way of thinking. Just wondered if any of you felt the same?We all had to come from somewhere and i know the Bible said we were all created in God's own imagine. So what image was that? Your input will be interesting.
