I am a Roman Catholic. I was raised in a very devout Italian Catholic household. However, I examined many different religions. I respect other religions, but have chosen to remain Catholic, because no other church speaks to me in quite the same way. I feel a deep sense of spirituality during a Catholic Mass that no other religion has yet been able to evoke in me.

My religion is African Methodist Episcopal. Why do I believe it, well I don't so much believe the religion as I have faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is why I have chosen to practice. I do follow the bible. And join together on weekdays for bible study and for praise and worship on Sundays. I was raised Catholic. I think of myself as a Christian. And I have a somewhat different idea than most Christan's that I know. My feelings are that their is one God, and many different denominations of religion. We as humans with the gift of choice. We choose different ways to believe. None is no more correct or wrong than another. Or at least it is not my place to say. That is Gods place to judge. I don't know who will or will not enter into heaven. All I know is I need to live my life daily as a witness for what I believe is the truth. I make the best of everyday trying to be he best person I can be. I give praise and thanks to my Lord and Savior everyday, and all things I do unto him. They keeps me pretty level and mindful and full of joy, even in the moments of adversity. Thanks for asking, I hope I gave you a clear explanation. God bless****

I wouldn't call my faith a religion. It is a relationship. This relationship is with Jesus Christ. He provides the way to heaven by His suffering and death. He is the only One in any faith that has done that and offers salvation to everyone who accepts His free gift. Secondly He rose from the death and proved it by a huge number of witnesses at one time and other reliable witnesses at a number of different times. I believe these accounts are true. At least 11 of these witnesses spent three years of of their lives following Jesus hearing His teachings, seeing Him after His resurrection and then giving their lives in some of the most inhuman ways for their faith. I can't imagine 11 men who were the most ordinary people of the day giving up their lives for someone they did not truly believe in... the Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the World and everything else He claimed to be and WAS in essence. Name one other person who rose from the dead and had that many witnesses after His death. Roman Law pronounced Him dead and I'm convinced those "boys" knew what they were doing. They had done enough executions and weren't about to let someone down from that cross without being sure he was dead. Besides Jesus was wrapped in burrial clothes and spices from head to foot. Soilders guarded the tomb. Chances that He would have survived such embalment are nil even if He were not dead and I am convinced He was dead. He rose because He was the Son of God as He said He was and had finished the work of earning man's salvation by suffering and dying to pay for man,s debt of sin.. His disciples and many others were gather together for His final instruction after which they saw Him rise up above into heaven. He has convinced me and thousands and thousand of believers though out ages He lives. Many other Christians through out history have given their lives because they believed in Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Forget religion.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Christianity because I simply feel it is right and true. I do not follow any one organized religion though, simply the word of God as found in the KJV of the Holy Bible.

none, because I want to accept things as I see them, not how others, and especially ancients see or saw them. the religions of today are to old and full of crap to be relevant in today's society. religion has caused more major wars in the history of mankind than any other single factor. Lack of religion has caused none. ever heard of an atheist Jonestown? Have you ever heard of an atheist saying "i killed them because no god told me to"?

i am buddhism and i believe in it because buddhism are just simple ideas to live a better life. i believe that buddha existed, but i do NOT believe that he was a god, or anything above us. he was like all of us, except he found his way to rid of all sufferings in his life. being buddhism doesn't mean you have to believe in buddha, you just need to follow buddha's teachings. i feel peace whenever i think back to buddha's teachings, and i like the fact that buddha never put himself above the rest of us, and he himself know that he was a human. you will achieve a happy afterlife if you do right in this life, not because you believe and pray to buddha.
