There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed in Sahih Muslim that reads: "the judgment day will not come until Muslims will fight Jews and kill all of them so that the Jews will hide behind rocks, but the rocks will call the Muslims to come and kill them"

I was shocked when I read that prophetic statement because I have always thought that Islam calls for peace and tolerance. Does that statement call for any peace or tolerance?

(I guess this statement should be authentic because it is narrated by Muslim, who is regarded as a very reputable source)

I asked this last nigth.. and i'm asking again since I still dont understand..

I'm trying to understand their concept of No "i" and No Soul .. Buddhism denies the existance of a soul as it denies the existance of a self... that there is no soul so there is no ego that rules our life on earth which is an illusion.

I am also having difficulties with since there is no i or self because we are constantly changing beings. Coming to the 5 aggregates .. of matter, feelings, perception, volitions, and consciousness. which is constantly changing.. so we are constantly changing.

1st i dont understand those two .. and 2nd what confuses me more is that they believe in reincarnation.. but they dont believe in a soul ??
Also.. They believe you learn from each reincarnation .. How do you learn if you dont remember the past ?

Could you tell me your thoughts ?

Children are the most vulnerable of us all, and they most neglected. There is not a nation in the world where they are not being exploited. With all of the hate in the world, the best way to combat it is with love. Can all people of faith abandon their anger with each other and come together to help those who cannot help themselves?

For those who say that bible writers thought that the earth was flat, even before science proved it is a sphere, bible writers know it already....

Isaiah 40:22 There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell.

own beliefs? is it because christians want power over the world and then point fingers at everyone but themselves because they refuse to take personal resonsibility? How about the missionaries in Africa? are they really making life better for the Africans? Or is AIDS spreading because of thier poor attempts to control it? How about the wars in India? are christians improving things by being in the war?

Ok, I see way too much co dependancy in species to think it was just random. The ecosystems of our world are too delicate and precise to say it was just chance. I 100% believe we were created.
But by what? I ask a Christian and they'll happily start talking about Genisis, and then the rest of it. Why? Sure, I believe it could have only been made by a God, but is the Bible's interpritation of that God the only right one?
With all the questions I've asked about God's existance, people say "Look at the world around you, it is beautiful and therefore created, therefore the whole Bible is true!" To which I say, "I agree, it is beautiful, AND created, but what does that have to do with everything else?" The story of creation was only one book in the bible, and then only the first few chapters. How does the intricate balance of the planet prove Chirstians right about Jesus and the whole Bible? Doesn't EVERY religion have a creation story?

As usual the Western Media has blamed the assassination of Pierre Gemayel on Syria. The bias of the Western Media led by the BBC, CNN and FOX was evident during the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. They continue to refer to the present Siniora government as anti-Syrian, even though it is a proxy for the US-Israeli-French-Saudi axis. On the other hand they continue to insinuate that the political parties led by the Hizbullah and its allies are pro-Syrian even though they truly represent the majority of the patriotic Lebanese people even though they are supported by Syria and Iran.

The simple question we need to ask is which are the forces that clearly stand to benefit from the assassination and therefore we need to analyse the situation within Lebanon and the West Asian region.

- The momentous victory of the Lebanese National Resistance over the Israeli army has forever shattered the myth of Israeli invincibility. The national unity of the Lebanese people across religious and sectarian divisions and the emergence of a national Lebanese identity was the key to the victory. The entire US-Zionist strategy of War as an instrument to reshape the region has reached its limits.

- The courageous Palestinian people continue to resist in spite of the daily slaughter by the Israeli Zionist Nazi onslaught.

- Similarly both in Iraq and in Afghanistan the resistance to the US-NATO occupation continues to grow and by their own admission the US led alliance is losing the war.

- This war has finally led to the awakening of the American people which was evident during the mid-term elections where Bush and his Neo-cons and the Zionist lobby were routed.

This is to bring up a part of the Bible -- Mathew 12:38-40
Before I give the passages, let me say this: The miracle of Jonah was that he was in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights-- and that he came out ALIVE from the belly.
now please listen to Jesus when scribes came to him and asked him to perform a miracle.

Mathew 12:38 The scribes came to him saying "Master, we would see a sign from thee....."

12:39 But Jesus answered and said to them
"An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign,
and there shall be no sign given to it,
but the sign of the Prophet Jonah"

(might I add that Sign in many translations is miracle:
So the Miracle/sign of Jonah)

12:40 and Jesus continues "Jonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the stomach of the Belly of a whale, so shall the Son of man be 3 days 3 nights in the grave also.

Okay: So when asked for a miracle he tells them no miracle will he perform, other than staying alive once entombed
Your explanation please?

The bible says that Jesus will return and break the eastern sky but east is someones west. I asked this question and got answers like "just face north on the map" or "the sun rises in the east." At the exact time the sun is rising in the east, the sun is setting in someone elses west. This is not an overly complex question. If Jesus is going to break the eastern sky (and the earth is in fact round) would that not have to be the west for someone? The same verse (Mathew 24:27) says lighting comes from the east and moves to the west. Also not true. I am just trying to get someone's link to where christians have tried to explain this away.

I think that is wonderful!

I heard from a friend the reason why suicide bombers sacrifice themselves is that God can let them enter to his kingdom. Its really an absurd idea but is it what they really believe? (Those Hijackers in 9/11 kept saying abu akhbar, meaning God is great)

I also heard that in Islam. They believe that it is legal to kill a person who does not believe in Islam. Is this true?
