I quickly reread both books. Picking leadership and holding them accountable appears to be only a few verses in a lengthy letter on how to live your own life and hold it accountable. Not sure what exactly your question is. Asking a certain group of society not to participate might actually be closing your mind to a greater understanding. I find a fresh perspective to often be a great opportunity to study and reaffirm my own faith.

Peace :)

1 Timothy 3 tells that overseers or religious leaders should be a husband of one wife. not a drunkard, smiter, reasonable.
1 timothy 6;9 says that those who are determined to be rich fall into temtation and a snare.10 stabbed themselves all over with many pains.
2 Timothy 3:But know this that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, self assumeing, haughty, liars, unthankful and disloyal.
lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.
What was you referring to? 2 tim. 3:16 all scripture is inspired of God. footnote:
mine says if he didn't want you to learn it he wouldn't have preserved it this long.

I'm an Atheist, and I haven't read them. I just wanted to "contribute" because I can.
