too may people, too little space...................

This is a frequent question.
Soon.
The time is near.
Scientists have said many things as to the end of time.
They all indicate the near future.
I feel that this nearness is twenty five years or less.
People who study the Bible say that the acceptable year of the Lord will come at midnight on the next Jubilee and that is when Jesus will come. This happens to be in twenty five years.
Coincidence?
No such thing.
I feel it.
The time is coming.
Also true that we are running out of resources and that the world is becoming too overpopulated.
Ever stop to think that maybe someday one child will be born and it will be the one child too many for the earth to hold and we will spin into space and cease?
Just a thought.
You are onto something.
The world is coming to an end.
Peace, joy, and love.

If we continue at our current rate of population growth then we're doomed quite soon. We are not really running out of resources, there are plenty of alternatives but our governments make so much money out of the resources we currently use that they don't support the scientific community in the development of cleaner, free sources of energy. This is also the reason they are so slow to admit to the existence of global warming. The proof is overwhelming and yet everyone still rejects it. I could rant on forever but nobody ever listens...............

It was about a dozen years ago that G-d said to me (only the second time I've heard Him) " . . .the end of all things is at hand (1 Peter 4:7)". Well, this student of biblical prophecy has rejoiced in things which I've seen in recent years. Let's look at a thing like the RFID chip and consider that something like a little chip which could be implanted in a persons hand or forehead could contain all the information needed about you to process you everywhere you go (medical, dental, financial, social). Take a look also at the European Economic Community and look also at the prophecies in Daniel (especially the multi-layered statue) which talk about ten toes (ten countries). Look at all the inter-relationship between banks and countries, and also look at a thing like the Council on Foreign Relations which according to one source "runs the world". I've been alive fifty plus years and have increasingly seen the birth pangs (earthquakes and pestilence [AIDS, ecoli, et al]). Take a look at 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and read the whole list of evils and see how well they parallel today (look at those who render their negative opinions about Christianity). Ill include a link regarding the end times that are upon us even now. But first, I'm reminded to share that we have turned a corner and are coming down the homestretch.

Scientifically, the world won't come to an end until the sun expands into our orbit, some 3-4 billion years hence. As to whether or not mankind is there is problematic. But your question is probably about human SOCIETY, as remnants of humans will survive nearly any disaster scenario you can name. I don't give this society more than another 50 years. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE, the sooner the better.

Well in scripture their is prophecied a War that will kill 1/3 part of mankind. This is supposed to start in the great river Euphrates which is present day Iraq. Unfortunalety we are in World War III now. However after this war, there will be peace for 3 1/2 years, and then the Great Tribulation (Satan's Wrath) will come for another 3 1/2 years. After which will come the Wrath of God for a short time. Then the battle of Armageddon, where Christ returns. Although after this there is another 1000 years, which Christ will be king, and the Saints will rule with Christ. But the end of the old ways is going to end soon.

Well, the world's carrying capacity will eventually be exceeded, and people will start dying more rapidly. That's just the nature of how things are. But the world wouldn't "end" per se - it'd still be here.

Now, if you'd like to imagine a large natural disaster (a la the comet that ended the dinosaurs' era), that's okay. That'd be the end of the human civilization at the very least. The earth itself will be destroyed when our sun consumes the last of its hydrogen supply, and engulfs us in its fiery hot gases.

the world is gonna end because religious people believe that they have no impact on the world and its all in the hands of some ghost that controls everything, when infact it is up to all of us as to how long our planet survives. if we find ways to be more enviornmentally friendly instead of destroying everything without worrying about the concequences, there is no telling how much longer the world will last. but if we keep up this pace, it probably wont last another 200 years let alone 1000

I think we are already on borrowed time. The resources are being depleted much to fast and we are not respecting Earth. I expect any day She will blow the whistle and tell everyone to get out of the pool.

The world won't end in our lifetime. But this world is a living thing, and one day will die, but before that happens, we will have found so many other places to live, on other planets of course, that it won't even matter, the Earth will be nothing to us but useless space.
