So sorry to hear about your puppy. Have a puppy myself and would be devastated if he were to pass.
My condolences
And its not your fault. You did what you could... here is a hug *hug*. Find peace.

Of course not your fault. Our pets are like family to us. I am sure you feel the same. Life and death happens. We can't always know why nor be blamed. Your grief is real, and to be expected. But you should not blame yourself. Only time will heal the hurt.
Although I do pray for my pets because I believe God cares and he created life and can heal a pet just as he can a human. But, I don't believe in praying for someone or something after they have passed. I can pray for you. I will pray your grief subsides soon. Big hugs.

I am very sorry for you Megan. It is awful to lose a pet you love. I hope he had a very happy life. You did everything you could and it's not your fault. Ignore the spiteful hypocrite.

(Ignoring the kind sympathy [sarcasm] from the Christian above) Your dog was blessed to be loved by you. So many dogs are never given a home, never given love and tender care.
