I think it a case of many conflicts over allot of time. I do not know who is holding on to the stories and they are mounting as time goes by. More than one culture has had problems (bad business deal, betrayed trust, you name it) But the people that were wronged have made the story larger than life. Sort of like the guy who caught the 12 inch trout that has become a forty pound monster and he is such a great fisherman. It happens that the Jew were always stuck in the middle of trade, governments, and Transportation. They were the group that had the largest thing in common and that was language. And later the profits from the business of communications. Now we do not need them to speak for us so we treat them badly. When the ottoman empire was divided there were allot of mistakes, and when Europe was divided to split Germany. I wish I was intelligent enough to give the source but I will admit if I'm in error

They were told in the Torah that if they turned away from observing the commandments that bad things would occur. I know Jews do not like to hear that and it sounds harsh but based on the plain meaning of the scriptures thats the case. Israel as a whole does not follow these commandments so there are consequenses. It has nothing to do with rejecting Jesus. Its simply that they need to repent and return to Yhwh and Torah observance.

I also wondered why they are hated, and I reached the conclusion that Judaism has nothing to do with Jewish people. But if you research the Jewish history yourself, you'll find out that they betrayed everybody.
P.S I don't hate Jewish people but I really detest the "Zionist's" actions in Palestine.

I don't hate them. I don't think they have been hated in general. There was that mad man who was disturbed with evil and given the opportunity he would have destroyed more than the jews. Some say the grief the jews endure is because they turned their back on their own, Jesus. But, I think it's because life happens. Good things happen to bad people. One of my best friends is Jewish and I am Christian. Please don't perpetuate the belief that all people hate Jews. It simply is not true.

Well Arabs don't dig the fact that their ancestors were treated badly by Abraham's wife Hanna and "left out in the cold". Then other nations weren't happy that the Jewish people came in and took the land that God gave them. Then others didn't like the fact that they were God's chosen people-kinda like the favorite son you just don't like. They are blessed by God and are usually successful as a result. Lastly-people blamed them for killing Jesus-which the Romans's did- and used that against them. As a Christian- I have nothing but utmost respect for them and pray for them as we are supposed to-but now you get an idea...

If nothing else...the Jews brought the twin concepts of objective morality and personal responsibility into the world. Scary propositions that are not well received.
CLick on the following (takes 20-30 minutes) for a very good overview of this subject:

I think it's because we don't accept Christ as the Messiah; because despite the fact that Jews make up only about 1% of the world's population, we make up about 25% of the Nobel Prize winners; that despite the fact that for 5,000 years, people have tried to wipe us out and we still exist; and that they are just jealous of our achievements.
