Why do people keep asking Christians that? We are not the judge of who is written in the book of Life and who is not, we don't know.
It is between that person and God.

I do hope we see one anther there.

We all know what the standard stereotypes are of those of various religious beliefs: Christians, Muslims, Athiests, etc. What percentage of these stereotypes are true? Do you feel that the stereotypes about the religious group to which you belong are less true than the stereotypes about the other groups?

"Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity, and a firm reliance on Him who has never yet forsaken this favored land are still competent to adjust in the best way all our present difficulty."

Does this apply to us today as well, and our present difficulties?

The christian bible teaches that our divine father created everything in six days. It also states that God created everything good. Later in the scriptures, it claims that there is nothing new under the sun, everything that is here has been here since the creation period. The bible does mention a new creation of life in the near future for the 'elect' few, but basically since the six days there hasn't been anymore creations. Everything was allowed for during the explaination of the six days. All of the creative credit goes to God. Nothing evil or bad can stem from God. So who created this place of everlasting torment known as 'hell'? When was 'hell' created? Where is 'hell'?

I always believed there was a higher power, I went to church as a kid, then in the last 6 years I considered my self born again. Now after careful thought and examination of the bible and how the God of the old testament seems so evil and out for vengence, and looking at science and realizing this planet is in no way less than 10 thousand years old, I believe I am now an Atheist. I feel my I eyes are finally open, and Im free of that dogma that Im sure 6 thousand years ago the people who thought the earth was flat needed a belief like this. Today we have learned so much and to think of this book called the bible in which chapters were picked and chosen and rewritten by bishops along time ago in a very different time seems ridiculous. I see how religion teaches hate, bigotry, ignorance, killing, wars, suppresion of women and so on and I wonder why the rest of thew world cant wake up and see that, I almost feel like religion may be the destruction of man has this happened to anyone else?

I speak from personal experience.. . .... Do you realize that you would live a more peaceful and understanding life 'away' from the 'rat race' of the city ??
Living away from the constant 'schedules' and so-called list of 'important' things to do, DOES allow you to get back to your roots and back to our Lord Jesus Christ . It doesn't mean that you can't do it in the city, but it's a thousand times more difficult .

We have cluttered our lives with what 'seems' to be important 'now', but if you were to leave, I think you SEE what I mean .
What do you think ???

Individual liberty and social cohesion are frequently at odds with one another, and balancing the two is a requirement of functional societies. Religions, too, take a stance on which deserves more importance. Quakers embrace a great deal of individual freedom. Catholics have a strong sense of keeping a community morality in line.

The same can be said about governments & societies, and religions have variously gone with the flow or swum upstream. (China has great trouble with the individualistic Falun Gong religion. Christianity has been the civil religion in a number of western countries and as such has promoted loyalty to the state.)

How does your faith (or non-faith) address the inevitable conflict between individual freedoms and social cohesion?

If Christians ignore sin, they are called hypocrits.

If Christians rebuke sin, they are called judgemental.

Is there anything a Christian can do that won't invoke such judgments from others. (Not pointing out the ironic hypocrisy of being "judged" as judgmental.)

All of the Hatred, Killing, Terrorism, and overall washing-out of the difference between Right and wrong ???

You can add Political Correctness and Appeasement to the list as well . And the removal of anything to do with Jesus from our society . I'll stop there . You are free to add what you will .

Dont they know that they was created by God..dont they know who is God??? dont you feel ashamed of your self when making bad statement about God..insult Him, giving Him names..do you think you are so damn great??

God is not a human!! No one can ever compare or alike Him with anything..we humans are so little comparing to Him..

He controls everything in this world...He cant just snap your comfortable life into misery..if He wants too..

Never ask things that you may regret later..

Repent people before its too late..

Yes I'm straight. No, I'm not trying to be a smart@ss. I really don't understand. I don't understand why God would hate someone just because they like the same sex. Please don't tell me it's because "it's not natural". I've read it's actually a chemical imbalance between estrogen and testosterone. Can you shed some light please? And you don't have to agree with me, I'll give the best answer to whoever answers the best, even if it's not what I believe. Thanks.
