Well, actually, the Bible says in the book of Genesis that God actually is a Man in gender; for he mad Man in his image! Woman came after man because Adam wanted a companion, so God put Adam to a deep sleep and took out Man's lowest rib, and then became Eve! I could imagine him a very big tall man, not too skinny, not too fat or big, but somewhat muscular, with a large brown beard and long brown hair, and blue eyes. I always imagine him with a golden rope around his big white robe!

God takes human form in order to interact with humans. The form taken would depend upon the specific human or group of humans that God wants to interact with. I believe the form would be as typical and average as possible. The person God is interacting with would not be frightened or awed and may not even recognize God because the form is so typical and average.
Of course what is considered typical and average changes from group to group. Typical in West Asia is not the same as typical in East Asia or Central Africa.
There are instances of angels interacting with humans in which the human does not recognize the angel. After Jesus' Resurrection He walked with some of His followers and they did not recognize Him until he revealed Himself. There was nothing out of the ordinary that would make anyone think that this person is different from other people.

I think God would appear as a member of the sex opposite to yours, as the most delicious vision you can imagine. Erotic, Intelligent, Best Friend with Benefits.
For me, statuesque reddish blonde, blue eyes, somewhat angular heart-shaped face, athletic build, and very randy!

Don't know what it would look like, but I do know that if god was a woman, things would be set up a lot differently. If god was a male, women would have a third breast, one in the middle of their back ..............for slow dancing

The first century knew what he looked like. From the shroud of Turin we can get a swollen inkling (provided it is the Messiah's death wrap)
He is definitely male for all eternity in his human image.
El-Shadai is a feminine name of God...

Well, there's the God and the Goddess, then you have the Roman Gods and the Greek Gods. Which god are you talking about? And don't say there's just one, because that's a sin to think that.

God is a fictional character that is mostly portrayed as male, though there are female gods.
The Christian god is definitely male. It was created by males in a heavily patriarchical society.
