Didn't God say in Ezekial 45:15 that a lamb should be offered for reconciliation?
And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD
Reconciliation implies that there has been a seperation and that some type of atonement must be made to bring the two parties back together.
Isaiah 59:2 tells us that >
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
It is sin that is the need for the reconciliation- and If a lamb is offered for reconciliation, isn't there a possiblity that it is as John said of Jesus in John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
