In the last hundred years people of the Earth have went from knowing very, very little about themselves and this life... Today we can communicate with anyone, instantaneously... We can now say that we know all we know, but not all we will know.

Who's next?

If you could talk to God, what would you say?

Poverty is usually linked to lack of financial means or physical sustenance. When we provide a spiritual education as to our Oneness with Spirit, there's an opportunity for an awakening to occur within every individual regardless of outer circumstances. While we must all come to together to support one another, it's imperative that we also wake up to all that we are in the Infinite Indwelling Presence. The farmer in rural Africa may need material support, but if s/he doesn't believe in her/his own inherent abundant nature, then the likelihood of rising above the appearance of poverty is slim. There must be an inner shift within the poverty-stricken as well as within the rest of us to facilitate an abundant life for all.

Didn't God say in Ezekial 45:15 that a lamb should be offered for reconciliation?
And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD
Reconciliation implies that there has been a seperation and that some type of atonement must be made to bring the two parties back together.
Isaiah 59:2 tells us that >
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

It is sin that is the need for the reconciliation- and If a lamb is offered for reconciliation, isn't there a possiblity that it is as John said of Jesus in John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

How can Jesus be in a trinity? There are so many verses like the following in the Bible- I thought only one would suffice--

John 14:24
"He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own
they belong to the Father who sent me."

He says they are not his own- making it hard for the theory of trinity if he was in fact the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit combined.

If the majority of scientists believe in evolution, I'm inclined to live under the assumption that evolution is true. There is SO much to learn from biology and paleontology. It takes decades. How can you say it's all false when you haven't spent more than a few years studying it.

"The weight training program that Lee used during a stay in Hong Kong in 1965 indicated biceps curls of 36kg (79 lbs) and eight repetitions for endurance. This translates to an estimated one repetition maximum of 50kg, (110 lbs) placing Lee in approximately the 100th percentile for the 55 to 64 kilogram weight class (121-141 Lbs)."

Was Jesus in the 100th percentile?

Many times people say things like, "I don't preach the Gospel to people, I just witness for Jesus through living my life".

The Bible tells us clearly that we are to preach and teach the Gospel, and that "faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)

Are those that claim to be Christians yet fail to tell others about Jesus (usually because they are afraid of offending them) hypocrits when they try to justify their disobedience by saying that they are "silent witnesses"? Are they just too afraid of the reactions of others to speak up?

(This is not to discount the importance of holy living, of course, but to acknowledge that no one is saved apart from hearing the Gospel proclaimed.)

Much ado has been made over the seeming lack of condemnation by muslims over the Islam-influenced terrorists who masterminded 9/11 and the Madrid and London bombings.

Will even one of my brothers or sisters in this family of humanity who hold the islamic faith stand up and unconditionally condemn these three attacks and the men who carried them out?

My muslim compatriots in the R&S forum, I present you an empty slate. Tell the world that you UNCONDITIONALLY CONDEMN the people who planned and carried out 9/11, Madrid, and London. Tell the world that you UNCONDITIONALLY CONDEMN the actions they took.

Even a simple, "I do" would suffice.

Okay Christians - Many of you responded to my other questions regarding what non-Christians would do when the rapture happened. Unfortuanatly - many of you said it was not Biblical. What about the following?

John 14: 2-3 - In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am, you may be also.

1 Thessalonians 4: 15-17
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
