Much ado has been made over the seeming lack of condemnation by muslims over the Islam-influenced terrorists who masterminded 9/11 and the Madrid and London bombings.
Will even one of my brothers or sisters in this family of humanity who hold the islamic faith stand up and unconditionally condemn these three attacks and the men who carried them out?
My muslim compatriots in the R&S forum, I present you an empty slate. Tell the world that you UNCONDITIONALLY CONDEMN the people who planned and carried out 9/11, Madrid, and London. Tell the world that you UNCONDITIONALLY CONDEMN the actions they took.
Even a simple, "I do" would suffice.

I knew that I would get the answers I'm getting, even jin's (ugh... I should have waited until his lunch break...)
I have a large number of muslim friends who follow the religion in peace, and they too have condemned it unconditionally. It was just time someone dug it out of the heap of other topics and made it clearly obvious that not all muslims support terror, not even conditionally.

Khiladi, my point is that Muslims *ARE* being expected to take responsibility, and that's not fair. The problem is, there aren't a lot of muslims publicly and openly condemning the terrorists, and as such they're getting attached to the terrorists.
If you ask a christian to take responsibility for hitler, they'll refuse -- but ask them to condemn him, and most would do so unconditionally, some would do so conditionally, but few would back him.
For the record, I'm an atheist, not a Christian. I just wanted to give my muslim friends here the opportunity that seems to get lost in all the other conversation.

Cici, I agree with what you're saying. Those countries are areas of the world have always seen a lot of war, and a lot of oppressors both internally and externally.
But there is a moral responsibility when one sees an atrocity to call it what it is. Evil is done when good men (and women) stand by and say or do nothing.
Even if they have been wronged, that does not excuse them from condoning it with their silence. Passivism condones, it takes a voice and an action to condemn.

I UNCONDITIONALLY CONDEMN the people who did these actions, Islam is a religion for the good of people. They're not Muslims, but mad people who interpret Qur'anic texts at their desires.
Noble Qur'an's say on this:
Al-Baqara 2:224 " And make not God's name an excuse in your oaths to not making good and acting piously, and making PEACE in mankind.."
Al-Nisa 4:90 "....So if they withdraw from you and fight not against you, and offered you PEACE, then God opened NO WAY for you AGAINST them"
Al-Hijr 15:52 "When they entered unto him, they said "Peace!" "
Al-Qassas 28:55 "And when they (The pious) here the vain talk, they withdraw from it and say: "To us our deeds, and to you your deeds. PEACE be to you, we seek not the ignorant"
Al-Hujurat 49: 9 " And if two groups or parties among believers fall to fighting, then make PEACE between them.."
And many more!!

I do Condemn 9/11, Madrid, London but I also agree with a lot of the other responses here...Have christians/catholics/jews ever been asked to condemn anything? Why are Muslims being targetted everywhere. Killings and Wars have been going on for centuries and yet no one has ever come forward to condemn them...

9/11 was wrong, the Madrid bombings were wrong, the London bombings were wrong, Al Qaeda is wrong, suicide bombings are wrong, sectarian violence in Iraq is wrong. Killing innocent people who had nothing to do with anything that happened to them is just stupid, misguided, and in no way an act of "self defense" as some of them claim.
They do not represent Islam.
(btw, what Cici said is true, too)

I don't condone it, but I'll enlighten you as to why LOTS of Muslims won't condemn it. Because they have been bombed & blown to bits in: Palestine, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq....for YEARS & does the West give a toss? So lots of Muslims now have the attitude of: "What? You've had a couple of bombings? So what, we're had thousands!". They might not support it or condone it, but they're either apathetic or think that its time the West had a taste of what they've been experiencing for years. The fact that the bombing were carried out by Muslims is irrelevant. Even if they were carried out by Catholics, Buddists or Jews, the Muslims would feel the same.

"if anyone kills a human being (whether muslim or non-muslim) (without the reason of murder) it is like he has killed the entire humanity"
This is the doctrine of the Quran. therefore 3500 lives died on 9/11, truely its a barbaric act.
But who did it???
