It actually says "If your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you".

Therefore if your brain commits sin, (by working and showing you that religion is nonsense), should you pluck your brain out, throw it away, and become a christian?

See my friend, religion is not like a football team or a political party... us vrs. them.

Religion is a vision to help us realize we are all one family under God.

I say you can't join my religion because I already consider you a member.

The tendency of the materially conditioned mind is to hanker after distinction. We want to differentiate ourselves and see ourselves as unique and different, like a couple embracing in Lover's Park. They think they are the only two people in love in the universe, yet if they look over their shoulder they will see 100 other couples doing the exact same thing they are doing.

When you do an impartial evaluation of all the major world religions you won't find much essential difference between them. They basically follow the same principles, yet differ in the details.

We should not get hung up on details but should see the essence. Every religion has value because it instills values within its followers to respect others, love, tolerate...

When tragedy strikes, a flood, a plane crash, do you blame the Devil? or credit God? or is it just an unfortunate coincidence?

Saul/Paul had set out initially to subvert Jesus’ teachings. Later he used his new doctrines to undermine the power of the Jewish church as well as the defied Roman Emperor. Paul sought to torpedo Judaism in its calcified form, its narrow interpretation of the Judaic law. He steered Christ’s teachings away from monotheism and from the Jews, (the lost sheep of Israel) and directed these teachings in a corrupted form to Non-Jews…As Jesus had not succeeded during his mission in converting the majority of his Jewish brothers and sister to his divinely inspired interpretations of Judaism, Paul ensured that after Jesus had departed, that Jews would not be temped to follow Jesus’ Teachings. To this end, Paul so adulterated Jesus’ life, purpose, mission and claims to make the new dogma (Paul’s version of Jesus’ teachings) repugnant to the Jews. ok so, if you live somewhere for 30 years performing miracles, even without tv, you'd be famous as hell. so why did the people who knew him most kill him? even faith healers who dont broadcast their sessions have tons of people waiting outside their homes in just a matter of months... compare that to 30 years of miracles... not just faith miracles. physical miracles...(which i dont believe is possible anyway)

can god do stuff against the free will of people to love jesus and make them hate him just for his stupid prophecy.... just like "i will harden the pharaoh's heart"?

or were they under the control of the puppet strings of the writer/s which i bet arent under the influence of a higher being(sounds like a drug lol)

I for one am VERY excited about this! Just think, for once in human history, someone has ACTUAL proof of the existence of god.
So please, whomever you were, please provide this "evidence" or "proof" so that we can all read it.
Oh and for the record, proof is defined as;

1.evidence sufficient to establish a thing as true, or to produce belief in its truth.
2.anything serving as such evidence: What proof do you have?
3.the act of testing or making trial of anything; test; trial: to put a thing to the proof.
4.the establishment of the truth of anything; demonstration.
5.Law. (in judicial proceedings) evidence having probative weight.

So you see that quotes from an outdated book of bronze-age jewish mythology does not count. Neither does "because I say so" or pointing to trees or puppies.
So with that in mind, let's see the "proof"!

The Big Bang theory created the universe.

Odds are far worse for creating humans.

And even worse for a habitat where animals co-exist with their environment perfectly as on earth.

Any conversions? lol

So, my question is: what are your thoughts on this??

God created Satan to be his companion. He was given the control over the earth before the creation recorded in the bible. At that time, God might have given created dinausuars and other creatures including some crude form of humans such as Peking Man or prehistoric humans to be under Satan's charge. (These humanic creatures were without the breath of God and not anywhere like God's image) When Satan turned against God or rather he wanted to replace God, God punished him by removing his power of control and all the creatures under his control were all destroyed. Next God created a new earth with Adam and Eve so refine and exquisite and beautiful who were instructed to take control of everything created in this earth. Satan was naturally jealous and succeeded in tempting both to eat the forbidden fruit and wrestled the control of the earth from the humans. Jesuscame.......you know the story.

Actually, I'm not sure if that's the right word I'm looking for because I'm talking about animals. I'm wondering if the Bible says anywhere that it's okay to kill an animal (or even an insect) to keep it from having to suffer. I know that the in the Ten Commandments it says "Thou shalt not kill". It gives no special circmstances or anything. But is there anything that says about doing it to keep an animal or insect from suffering?

Can someone PLEASE explain to me why people judge you when they don't even know you? Sure, I'll admit that I have done it before, everyone has but some people just don't know when to stop. Like when I asked an ignorant question (purposely) here on yahoo and some people told me that I porbably won't even make it to high school or that I need professional help (even though I'm ALREADY in high school). They don't even know me. Or when people don't want to be friends with me because I'm an atheist, well ****, their loss. Or when people tell me that I need an IQ boost and that I need to put my crack pipe down.

Has this ever happened to you? Have people talked about you when they don't even know you? Does it feel good?
