I met my mom at a rest stop to bring her her medication and a pair of shoes. She had to make an emergency trip to the hospital, to take her brother (my uncle) there, and she didn't have time to stop home and get her medicine. I was home sick in bed, but I got up and got her stuff for her and drove out to meet her.

I felt good that I was able to help her get my uncle to the hospital faster, and that she would have her medication she needed.

I asked my 89 year old Dad, if he wanted an ice cream sandwich. He saw it in there, but didn't want to take it out of the fridge, cause' he knew I bought it!

He said, no, that'll be to much sugar for me! I cut it in half, and he gave the other half to his 89 year old girlfriend. They were born only 3 days apart.

I try to make her feel better sometimes, just lately she has been feelin' a little, well, old.

She doesn't usually feel that way much. Not until just this year, anyway.

It just made me feel pretty good, like we can all get along with peace and harmony in this house.

I gave my dog a bath. Made sure he was dry with the blowdryer. Gave him a bone. Put a sweater on him and watched Dr. Phil. Felt great to see him nice and clean and comfortable.

I talked to a friend of my Friend who was concerned for him, and was able to let him unburden his concerns. I feel more at peace now, having been able to share in his trust & caring, and letting him know he's not alone.
