What is Truth and Perfect is God. So, how God can commit errors. It will be a contradiction in terms. Hence, no question of punishment or punishing authority , over and above God.

To call something an "error" or a "mistake" is to say that it is incorrect. The concept of God is an all-knowing, infinitely powerful being, the likes of which is not exceeded. In reality he would define what is "correct" and "incorrect/error". So whatever God does, would be correct.
You seemed to be implying the possibility of something greater than God to punish him if he "sins". The answer most people who believe in a single God would give is most definitely no, because then he would not be God.

No he never commited any error but only us his creations judge Him that He made errors. Such as disasters, death, famine, abnormality, birth defects, etc. anything that is not perfect we blame Him saying if He is perfect why not make everything perfect. But rather we should ask first ourselves why these things are happening, try to analyze rather than blame. All the sufferings and imperfections of this world are temporary. He wants us to understand things in a different view and have our faith strong, like the faith Job has shown. Please read Job in the Old Testament.

God makes no errors. He is perfect. He is the Alpha and Omega.
We want to believe he does. But with our limited mind we cannot
see as God sees.
