God created Satan to be his companion. He was given the control over the earth before the creation recorded in the bible. At that time, God might have given created dinausuars and other creatures including some crude form of humans such as Peking Man or prehistoric humans to be under Satan's charge. (These humanic creatures were without the breath of God and not anywhere like God's image) When Satan turned against God or rather he wanted to replace God, God punished him by removing his power of control and all the creatures under his control were all destroyed. Next God created a new earth with Adam and Eve so refine and exquisite and beautiful who were instructed to take control of everything created in this earth. Satan was naturally jealous and succeeded in tempting both to eat the forbidden fruit and wrestled the control of the earth from the humans. Jesuscame.......you know the story.

My question is to mean if Satan has the power to create life like humans, does he need us humans because with that power he could create any number he wants? The 'you' in the question is not intended. I apologise for the error. Perhaps the bible's record of the war between God and the devil will not be necessary.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Where did you get the story? Who told you he was punished and his power was removed? Why don't look around you and the world. Do you think he is not in control? People are at war with each other. Drug Lords are happily enjoying their fortunes, religions have been used for countries to be at war with each other. Do not underestimate Satan, Apple is no longer his tool it was already taken over by Steve Jobs and is already being serve as as a good tool for communications and listening pleasures.
Do not believe the hearsay. Get the best informations you can. Do not stop for the little words in the streets you hear and brag about it.

No he doesnt need us that's why he is called:

"That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]." -John 8:44

He wants all of us killed, so that there'll be no one to remain worshipping God....he knows he will die anyway so he wants to bring us much as he can with him to death.
