Belief is the conditioning of the mind where as goodness is a proof in the conduct. Hence, believers need not necessarily be good persons.

No way. Evil, like good, lives in the hearts of all people whether we are believers or not. Most "good" people keep their evil thoughts, feelings, and actions suppressed and work harder to resist temptation. It is more of a struggle for some than others.

No, definately not! Here's a fact....the highest percentage of people in jail are christians. I've personally known believers that arn't good people. I also find that non believers tend to be good people!

No. There are believers in many things and religions who are wonderful people and many who are not so wonderful. And the same with non-believers.

Because someone believe in a faith, whatever one it is, doesn't mean that he or she is good, even by that faith's values. Case in point, most criminals "find God" while in lock up, but most convicts will re-commit a crime. But, they still believe.
