I just read this answer right here on yahoo. After reading it, I sensed that there was truth to that statement.

Is anyone really on this site to be converted....or are some of us here to learn more about others and about ourselves?

I always think it is interesting that the vast majority of people, belive quite avidily, in the very smame religion they were "born into" and taught by there parents. It is very rare you find someone convert to catholosism who was originaly budist or vice versa. I mean, of all the vast religious believes out there what are the odds that the one that is right for a person, happens to be the one there parents belived? I was raised lutheran, but after exploring various different religoius paths, i find it to be one of the least complatible for me. Has anyone else out there noticed this trend, and if so have you explored other spiritual paths?

and you should worship God through Jesus, (like pray to Jesus) yet others say that Jesus is just a messenger and you should not pray to or worship him. I know everyone has their own beliefs, but I am just confused. I don't know what is true.

GOD Laws are made of three Books: The Old Testament, The new Testament and Quran as a conclusion all originated from the middle east. How can you understand GOD LAWS with out reading GOD Conclusion?

If he is all powerful couldn't he have just snapped his fingers? Six days seems like an awful long time for God. And why did he have to rest on the seventh day? I grant you it was a really big job but does God get tired?

Can a person really truly be an atheist? Considering you cannot really prove a negative, can you prove that God doesn't exhist. If humans are limited in intellect and knowledge and are not omniscient, can they prove God does not exhist, and if they cannot, how can they prove God does not exhist? I don't believe you can be a practical atheist.

I am in a rock band. this thing keeps appearing every time we practice. it looks like the lead singer of led zepplin. It always makes us an offer of more skill and power than even AC/DC! Doesn't anyone out there believe that spirituality comes from within?!
I have so many people in my life trying to persuade me to go to their church. Baptists, Catholics, LDS - they all feel that their belief is the "right" one. ARRRGH! I get so frustrated!
I feel I don't need to go to church to be spiritual.

Without free will for things we do and everything appears to be destined by God or nature which is doubted since it is lifeless as aware, humans are pawns. So I just wonder whether it would be better to be treated this way by God whom we could ask when we meet him than the Nature which I doubt we can as it is lifeless and without a personality. How would nature face us and what are us which is soulless. In such condition we are just living carcases.
