I just read this answer right here on yahoo. After reading it, I sensed that there was truth to that statement.

Is anyone really on this site to be converted....or are some of us here to learn more about others and about ourselves?

(I hope the writer is okay with me using his/her words here).

I think that only the ship's route will change upon altering it's course a half of a degree. The destination can stay the same.

In all honesty, I'm here to make myself feel better by looking at the comments of all the stupid, gullible and ignorant people out there. That, and I'm sick with a cold and don't really feel like doing anything else.

I would guess that most people are on this section to convert others to their way of thinking. I know how religious people feel and why they feel that way. I used to be one of them.
