I disagree with many of the rules made by the church people. Many Christians would like to hang me by the rafters for my next comment but Jesus didn't even mention homosexuality so how can anyone say He was against it. The gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John (they are called gospels as they are the gospel truth)do not mention Homeosexuality. Other people mention it but they aren't our Messiah.
What are the 2 golden rules we are to obey? Hmmm Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul AND Love others. What others , do you ask? ALL OTHERS. Not one of us is perfect. We all sin , we all screw up, therefore we should all shut up and stop judging what others do.

There are always rules I don't agree with. Homosexuality aside, there seems to be a lot of focus from the magisterium on following the letter of the law. Jesus is quote in Scripture as saying the greatest commandment is to love God first, then love your neighbor as yourself... if I hate myself how can I love another? First love God, with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul. All else will be easy.

I am a Christian and there are laws in the Bible I wish were different, but, they arent. Just like there are mans laws I wish were different but they arent. And, unlike most people, I dont over look Biblical laws or claim they arent important now, especially if the NT never states they have been finished (like dietary law and temple law etc) just to fit my needs. I break some Biblical laws, I know this and I know I will be held accountable. Just like man's law, if I break it, Im held accountable.

I don't practice any religion. But I do agree that if you are Catholic you are not going to agree with every single rule. For example I have NO PROBLEM with birth control. Why can't the Catholic church say that's ok?

God is the only judge of what is good or evil. If He says something is bad, it should be avoided. If He says it is good, we should practice doing it.
If we go by what you and I think, then we are judging God to be wrong. He's not very happy with that.

Not a one. The spirit of G-d has lead me to love His word and its truth. It provides good fruit. Why would I desire something else?
