how many of you 'keep the sabbath day holy' by not working or eating on saturday (which is the 7th day of the week btw)

im willing to bet if we could take a pole across america less than 10% of you actually follow the rules of your religion & it's bible, yet you believe all the lies told to you by the preacher and you defend your 'faith' with all your mind

As far as I can imagine, god is very good and not aristrocratic that he wants every thing to himself, then why does muslims take this issue to very high levels and say "people who pray to multi gods are not of true religion".

ok i have to be honest.. i have this huge problem with muslims. why? because i am gay, and most muslims want me dead.

i just feel so bad for hating others. it just.. saddens me that i hate muslims! you know, some muslims [like muslimah] on this board are so nice, but i have this horrible thought in my head about them. and i can't get it away. all because they are muslim.

i guess i don't like islam because it supports killing gays.. and that just hurts.

can you muslims please help me overcome my fear and predjudice?

Is it because one needs a 16th grade level to comprehend it? (unfortunate that the average american reads at an 8th grade level).
I thought King James was poorly translated because he only had like 9 people working on the translations, where as the NIV etc, have had hundereds of people working on the translations?!?

i am wondering if there is anyone that knows what can be done about Palestine or Darfur. As of right now i donate money and do my best to let any who ask the truth on the situation, but i feel as if there is something that one should be able to do to actually help all of these innocent people that die daily.

there are two words in Arabic for "brother" one means brother in the sense of fraternity and the other means brother in the sense of blood kin. the one used when speaking about how the believers are brothers, it uses the word brothers as in the blood/kin sense. saying that we are all brothers and sisters as if we have come from one mother. our brothers and sisters die terrible deaths everyday. what can we do? does anyone know of any ways to take further action to help them?

I have decided to sort of...expand on something I answered in a question earlier. A lot of people claim that the Bible is "full" of contradictions, and I asked in the answer for anyone to name three and post it as a question. Since I'm very busy, I don't have time to check every question, so I propose..sort of a challenge. My email is shown, and I ask that anyone here who maybe doesn't understand a passage in the Bible, or feels that there is a contradiction, email me about it, detailing what you feel is conflicting. I'll repost the "contradiction" as a question, and explain it a little, and then also leave room for people to comment, or if they have anything to add they can. This will be cool...sort of like a ministry thing. Basically, if you feel like you know of a contradiction in the Bible, email me about it, and I'll do my best to find the answer. This is also a good way to show a lot of the misunderstandings of the Bible, and show how to properly read the Bible in context.
