Jesus is God, he is not another God. God is a God in 3 persons, God the Father, God the Spirit, and God the Son (Jesus)

Jesus said that He was sent by the Father and He and the Father are one. We also know that Jesus is the only way to get to God. When the Temple worship was practiced the priest would go to the Holy of Holies to atone for our sins. No Jesus goes directly to the Father to atone for our sins and He said that we must pray in the Name of Jesus to God the Father. But we still worship God the Most High through Jesus the Messiah.

Yes God stated in (Exodus 20:5) 5 You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me,
(Exodus 34:14) You must not bow down to another god, for Jehovah is known for requiring exclusive devotion. Yes, he is a God who requires exclusive devotion.
(Isaiah 42:8) 8 I am Jehovah. That is my name; I give my glory to no one else, Nor my praise to graven images.

Yes you are correct when you said that God says not to worship to any other gods. As you can read on the above scriptures Jehovah requires exclusive devotion that included Jesus Christ too.

Many religions do not worship Jesus. Even Jesus himself stated that in
(Matthew 4:10) Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”
Jehovah God gave Jesus his only begotten Son all authority meaning that he is in-charge of every matter concerning the earth.
(Matthew 28:18) 18 Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.

When Jesus accomplished all the Things concerning the earth and the heavens, He would have to gives all these thing subjecting to him back to Jehovah God.

(1 Corinthians 15:23-28) . . .. 24 Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. 26 And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. 27 For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

In the scriptures above Jesus have a role to ruler as King for 1000years until He Jehovah put all enemies under Jesus feet. Jesus has a very important role that is to vindicate Jehovah name and sanctification because of Satan slandering Jehovah name from the beginning of creation with Adam and Eve.

So Jehovah like a Loving Father has rewarded Jesus for His Obedience and Loyalty with a great authority reason why we have to obey him (Jesus) like is express in the following scriptures:
(John 3:35, 36) 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life; the one who disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.

Jehovah wants us to listen to His Son Jesus who came as an Ambassador to reconcile human who were alienated and have not hope back to Jehovah God.

In clonclusion Jesus himself state that He should not be worship.

To be totally honest with you, you should know that Satan has duped a good many number of Christians into believing that trinity actually makes sense. Sadly, it makes no sense no matter how many new ways they come up with to explain or justify it. The truth is, God send Muhammad (peace be upon him) to proclaim and re-establish the true belief in One God who is Infinite and Almighty. God says more or less in the Holy Qur'an: Say One God, not three or three in one if you know what is better for you. In fact, here is the exact quote:

'O people of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion, nor utter anything concerning God save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of God, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers, and do not say 'Three'. Desist, it will be better for you. God is only One God. . . . The Messiah would never have scorned to be a slave of God.' (Surat al-Nisa, 171-2)

So worshiping Jesus (peace be upon him) who is a creation of God, is in fact straying from the true worship of One God. peace out

"Gods" could be anything at all that you worship ... food, money, lust, etc. Some people make those things their "god" and place them before God. That's what was meant by "put no other Gods before him".

Jesus was "the word made flesh" ... God's message to mankind. Jesus was not God, but channeling his message. God never instructed mankind to worship Jesus.

Jesus is an extention of God. I personally feel that God is all things (good or bad) but Jesus. He is love and peace and good and ........ Now God is good, don't misunderstand but Jesus does not send tornados. He performs miracles. And we have to remember that all of Jesus' power comes from God. This is a wonderful question. I truly hope you get a comfortable and true understanding of the message in the Bible.

Jesus IS God....so no, its not putting Him before God. Jesus was God in the beginning as The Word... the flesh of Christ (Word of God becomming flesh) is STILL God but now in human form.

Rev 5:13 says: Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

Every creature on earth will worship Him someday, so nothing wrong with doing it now.

Jesus has told us not to do this when he said when you pray --pray unto my father in heaven and god will give you the petition that you stand in need of. Now some people worship Jesus too cause Jesus also said when you have seen me you have seen the father, cause the Father and I are one. Jesus was God come down in the flesh and walked this earth. Scholars have been since the creation of time trying to figure God out when all God is saying is you cannot figure me out unless I so reveal myself. Remember when they was building that towel in Babel and God confused their language so that their mission would not be complete. So it is this way today people minds are confused everywhere and cannot see what is happening concerning "God " unless he so reveals. God has created some smart human beings and by and by we someday will know the whole truth to all things. As for the now one must established a true relationship with God Abba Father and get to know him for one self. God says when the spirit of truthhas come you need no man teach you nothing cause the holy spirit will teach you all things.God is doing things to astound the minds of men concerning his word and nothing man has ever been able to do nothing about it. Man trying to figure god out and God has already worked it out.

Will as a Muslim... We believe in One God , The Creator In Arabic ALLAH . and we believe that Jesus was his messenger and not the sun of God. We love Jesus and all the other prophets that came before and after them but we don't worship them. We follow their message.
