Its (obviously) Messianic Jew symbol, the Menorah with the star of David and a Jesus Fish. I'm sure there are mixed opinions, but I love it!

Blessings!

Isn't it the case that evangelical Christians have decided a priori to accept biblical miracles and reject all others? Aren't the apologists' "objective standards" for accepting or rejecting extra-biblical miracles post hoc?

I often find some atheists, usually the more ignorant ones, use the "oh so clever" flying spaghetti monster paradox. I find this childish and insufficient. The premise is that when theists say "Prove God doesn't exist", the atheist will respond with "Prove a flying spaghetti monster doesn't exist." This is ridiculous, and flat out stupid. The concept of God serves to explain natural phenomena as well as provide at least some answer to many questions unanswered in science, which makes it at least somewhat likely to think God might exist. The FSM argument serves as nothing more than an insult. I also want to mention the Occam's razor argument. If you are looking for simplicity, wouldn't it be simpler to say "God did it" than come up with a billion theories. I also want to thank the atheists who actually answer with rationality. Though we disagree in the long run, you are the ones willing to learn, teach, and consider, even if you choose to disbelief. But please explain the above. Thanks.

3 Paul says
that without the resurrection, the Christian faith is in vain (1 Cor 15:14).
How could the biblical accounts possibly disagree on such an important
narrative?

Lets think about the general level of distrust people have for each other these days, and the pervasiveness of the bloodsucking media. If Jesus were to really be reborn again, would anyone buy into his message or his miracles? Would he be able to inspire new hope? Would the Pope/church condone his actions and existence? (I'm playing devil's advocate here; I want to hear both sides).

If you were born in India, you'd most likely be a Hindu. In Iraq? Muslim. The US? Christian. Your religion is overwhelmingly dependent on where you were born. Religion is a cultural thing. You aren't a Christian or a Muslim because God has touched your heart. You are what you are because you were raised into it. An open-minded and intelligent person sees this and chooses Atheism or agnosticism.

Everytime Acts talks about death of Jesus, it says he was hanged on a tree (Acts 5:30, 10:39, 13:29).

It is "tree" in KJV and NIV (look it up on on www.biblegateway.com), some other translations interpret tree as cross.

Hanging is not crucifiction, it is way faster, even instant if done right (it breaks the neck rather than strangles). Hence no suffering to atone for our sins?

Why couldn't they make it more consistent?

claming that nothing can come from nothing and that
God has always been there.

Atheists claim that the universe came from the big bang
plus giving the impression that the universe came from
nothing. (ie it could well be that the universe has always
been there undergoing several big bangs with each new one
destroying the old universe).

Then, the question is if both requires faith to believe,
yet christians say that the bible is prove of Gods existent yet the
date can not be validated, how come they disregard repeatable scientific data that shows this big bang/big crunch theory could happen and that it’s the universe itself that shapes the rules and laws of how it works and not an all powerful deity.

P.s don't say its God's will that gravity works etc or that he created
the big bang, it could be a number of other non-christian god's will at work or the devil himself. As if it was god(s)/satans will at work then he has proved himself and therefore faith in God is no longer valid.

I am catholic and catholics believe that Jesus and God are one, but there are so many beliefs out there about Jesus, God and Mary, that I just don't know what religion is right to believe and who to pray to. She is a faithful christian, she's about 27, she's really a "girly" girl type, but she's really nice and we get along great even though we have different tastes in most things. Anyone have any suggestions? I have already bought Max Lucado's "Facing Your Giants", "Cure for the Common Life", and "John's Story" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. I'm just gonna distribute these between different family members. Would any of these be something you think she might like, or is there another book you might recommend? I just need some ideas. Thanks!
