There are not a long list of requirements to get into heaven. You have to believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that he died and rose again and you have to accept Jesus into your heart and admit that you are a sinner. We are saved by grace and not works and once you are God's child you cannot "do" anything that would cause you to lose that salvation.

No you will not go to hell because you are confused but it is your responsibility to seek God (as I can see that you are) and seek answers to your questions and to the things you are confused about. The bible is where you should start seeking answers. A lot of religions have a lot of beliefs and many times you will find that some do not go according to what God's word says. You have to read the bible yourself to know if what they say in church is true or not. The bible is complex and I believe that if you lived 100 years more and read the bible over and over again you would still die not knowing everything. Just remember Jesus died for our sins. HE knows you and I aren't perfect and He doesn't expect us to be or to understand everything. Just have faith and pray to God to open your eyes and your mind and to help you with the things you are confused about and HE will answer you!

No where in the bible, including in Jesus' words, does it say you can go to hell for being confused about these things, or anything else. Get back to basics....you go to heaven when you believe the words of Jesus, and how to get there. Do you have faith in God? Do you believe you are a sinner in need of a savior, and that Jesus is him? Would you confess Jesus before men? God knows your heart, and that is what he is concerned with most of all. As for Mary, she was also a sinner in need of a savior. Jesus died for her, just as much as any of us. The catholics are a little confused there. Don't let confusion get you down though....just keep searching for the truth. If you seek, you WILL find. Just ONE of the tons of awesome promises in the bible. Take care,

there is absolutely nothing wrong with being confused. everyone is confused about something. humans were not created to understand everything about God. now concerning your confusion about God, Jesus, and Mary, that cause you to think about what you believe and why you believe it. i am a Christian and believe that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one. as far as Mary, she was the earthly mother of Jesus and nothing more. She was not given special abilities or privilages because of being Jesus' mother so there is no reason to pray to her or to any other saints, only God. there is plenty of Scripture to back this up. if you really want to know the truth, all you have to do is read the Bible. i would recommend Phillipians, but it is up to you. hope this helps.

You will never go to hell for the reason of confusion.
Are you sure of that your name is written in the Book of life. If you name is not found in the book of life you will never have the eternal life.
Your name will never be written in the book of life by praying to Mary, or any other saints or popes.
If you believe & confess Jesus Christ Died for your sins and God raised him up from the dead. You will be saved and your name will be written in the book of life.
Moreover you pray to Your Heavenly Father, God almighty to guide you to walk in the right paths and he will guide you. Your prayers should be in Jesus Christ's name.
You should never have an interceeder between you and God like mary the mother of Jesus or any saints.

It's like this. Get a Concordance, commentaries, and read the Bible. There is great software bibles out there, for cheap.
Learn, learn, learn.
How are you supposed to get good at anything? Practice, practice, practice.
You need to trust God to show you what is true. A great teacher is great to have, because God gave some to be teachers.
So learn. Turn off the TV, and stop watching so many videos. Get alone with the word of God and learn.
Ask yourself; "How many times a year do I visit a Christian book store?"

Even some of the greatest saints were confused about Jesus & Mary. If you are serious about your present predicament, something you might consider doing is get involved with your church's Youth group. Talk to a trusted Catholic; we all need someone to talk to at times in our lives. A faithful Catholic should be able to help you along in your life path.
STOP WORRYING ABOUT GOING TO HELL! You are a child of God. AND that's not bad!!! :-)
God is all about loving, generosity, forgiveness, & service. Live a life living in the image & likeness of God & it will be a full one. :-)
God bless...........peace!

No, I dont but G-d is the Judge. The third "player" of the trinity is the Holy Spirit, not Mary.
Never in the bible does it say pray to a saint or pray to mary. Pray to the Father in Jesus name like he taught us in Matthew 6.
Accept Jesus in your heart. Pray to the father to give you the Holy spirit. (John 3) If He does, you may get a new perspective on alot of things, including church.
By the way, I admire you for asking about this and admitting you are confused, that takes courage! Well done!
Blessings, email me anytime!

If you realize you are a sinner, believe he is God, repent of your sins, and trust Jesus Christ for your salvation. No you are not going to hell. The confusion can also be eliminated if you will pray, read your Bible (KJV or NKJV would be best IMHO) and seek his wisdom.
Here is a great site that will answer many questions

No, I am as convinced as a human being could be that you will not.
Read what Jesus says about the nature of God. Read what type of love is demonstrated in the story of the Prodigal Son, or the shepherd with the 99 sheep and 1 more lost. God is not waiting to "get" you for having the wrong beliefs. Jesus said to love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul, and to love your neighbor like yourself. He did NOT say to be 100% sure that your theology is 100% correct. Please, trust Jesus when he tells us that God's primary nature is grace.
