The Bible talks about fallen angels and elect angels. Do you also believe that there's a spiritual warfare of unimaginable proportions that is naked to the human eyes?

Is salvation analogous to a vending machine? Salvation sodas are filled with faith and are in plain sight of everyone. Big advertisement on the machine, plenty of sodas available for the entire world, come one, come all.

Now those sodas are held back behind the glass since they require the human "tokens" of acceptance in order to obtain that salvation. Don't worry, the sodas are free, the price has already been paid and you've been given the tokens to buy the soda.

So we put the acceptance-prayer tokens into the machine, and out pops the salvation, and we receive our relationship with God. Tastes great, and we want to tell everyone about the machine. After all, everyone has tokens anyway, and for those that might lose their Salvation, plenty more tokens available.

By the way, there's a sin table nearby, no tokens necessary, all you can eat, and also "free" for now. Pay later if you don't get that soda.

One bottle per customer. Free refills.

I've read the bible as well as a number of other religious texts. I was given a classical Christian catechism. I was baptised, confirmed and received holy communion. My mother taught religious education. As an adult I traveled to Japan and studied with a Buddhist priest. I've done casual study on other major world religions.

I did all these things and still came to be an atheist.

Before I would even presume to debate a theist about religion, I would make certain to learn and undertand as much as possible about what my opponant believes. In fact, this is exactly what I've done.

How can you presume to discount something I believe until you've explored it in a manner similar to the way I've described. How can you expect me to entertain respect and give creedence to your position if you don't make an honest effort to understand mine?

Besides the sinners prayer I do not think God hears the prayers of those who have not put their faith in Christ.

What if they wanted to set you free from repressive dogma, would you give them the time of day? Would you listen and not judge? Would you really, honestly consider their words because they sincerely seem to believe them? Would you think that they had every right to come to your home, express their beliefs and want to share them with you out of a genuine humanistic concern for your life?

On the radio on tv in the street in advertisements what is with these losers some of us like me dont believe in the myth of jesus christ biggest myth and lie of all time that retards are dumb enough to believe in cause there weak and need something to believe in I say take away the advertisement in the streets for christmas cause some of us dont wanna see that garbage i wanna see advertisements for things that are usefull and in my opinion theres no god so therefore christmas is useless and should not be advertised and should be kept personal if you wanna celebrate than do it in your house cause what you do in your house i could care less now and as for these for these christmas advertisements they gotta go one way or another they should be gone and replaced with something thats not pointless churches and as for the radio playing xmas songs all day they should put a stop to that and turn it off and as for the xmas advertisements take them away throw them away anything

Wouldn't that make god bad for sinking 1500 innocent people because one guy said "not even god could sink the titanic"? Wouldn't it just make more sense that it was human error?

(and for anyone that knows well this topic. is it true that someone indeed even said that or is it just another Christian myth?)
