Because Bin Laden, and whoever is behind any other similar fanatic movement, are Muslims. It is a pity that they are so. They revolt me.

Isn't it interesting that when we learn of another culture through the media, it is always some radical, religious group that wants notoriety through acts of terrorism? Why is it that we cannot acknowledge that these Muslims we hear about are radicals and not following the true Muslim doctrine?

When Jim Jones commanded his followers to drink the cyanide (as he did himself), what religion did we blame for that? It may not be terrorism in the sense of today's murderous acts, but it is murder all the same. When the moon children killed themselves, what religion did we accuse?

The Catholics had/have the priests to thank for the molestations of choirboys. The televised reverends have their money schemes or adulterous affairs aired and we are content to simply blame "religion." Recently a well known minister was linked with a gay escort and we are thrilled to blame "religion" on the acts of mankind.

Nationally, it is just the Muslims' turn for us to accuse of senseless acts. In time, there will be another group to whom we shall turn our heads and focus on.

Personally I'd consider the US to be responsible for the majority of terrorism. Already 100,000+ people have died due to "pre-emptive," actions that were based on false claims. The current administration thrives on fear, as it allows them to control the populace. That's the very definition of terrorism.

And I'm American, I just own up to the atrocities that our administration is actively committing.

They aren't, they are just the ones you hear about. They also aren't true muslims, but fanatics. Any religious fanatic can be someone to be afraid of.
