I have a wholesome fear of the true God Jehovah because at Matthew 10:28 it states "And do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul: but rather be in fear of him that can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." I think about what Job went through. He lost everything but his life and stayed faithful to God and he was rewarded. Although Satan can do a lot of things like what he did to Job and he may even cause us to lose our life. Only God can bring us back (John 5:28,29)

God! I fear him in a respectful way though. Satan has no power over me. God is in control and that's what matters. So I fear him because I love and respect him. I could care less for Satan.

neither. I dont fear God...i will always love God(proven or not proven to exist)... since love & fear can never coexist. Satan? who should i fear an idea that the mere purpose in the bible is to be the antagonist.. i learned that the jewish torah(old testament) dont refer to satan as entirely bad & works by his own will. He's under God's supervision assigned to test Humankind.
Only when the roman empire devised the Canon & added the new books to finalize the bible, the demon was emphasized as definite evil & God's adversary.
Human nature is much more mysteriously scary than an alibi we use for such flaws

Neither. If God's will is supreme and all things serve God, then I'm doing God's will and need not fear. In spite of all the arguments, satan still serves God, thus God's will is still being done.

God of course. Satan can't do anything to me, or you. He may seem like a big threat because of the way that the world is going today. If you couldn't tell, Satan is a little wimp. He's turning people against God so he doesn't have to be destroyed by himself. That's selfish, and wimpish. Pffft.

Fearing Satan is silly. Satan has no power or authority of anyone at all. He is nobody.

God. Satan only has whatever power God allows him to have. "Don't fear him who can kill the body only, but him who can kill the body and soul in hell." The Bible

Neither. I fear myself, my character defects, and my sins.

I will have to arrive in heaven perfect, but to think I will die perfect is an illusion. In His mercy and justice, God has provided a means of final purification.

So if purgatory is taught in the Bible and the early Christians believed in it, why do Protestants deny it’s existence? The answer is that Protestant theology does not accept the idea that sins are truly forgiven, but maintains that once a person believes and accepts Jesus as savior their sins will be covered by Christ's righteousness and God only seeing the perfection of His Son will declare the sinner to be justified or saved even though in reality their soul remains in a state of mortal sin.

The problem with this fabricated theology is people are given a false assurance of salvation which has no need of Christ’s sanctifying grace bestowed through His seven sacraments, prayers of intercession, works of charity and love, or the purification of purgatory.

Martin Luther, the founder of the Protestant Reformation, summed it up best when he said," Sin boldly but believe more boldly. Let your faith be greater than your sin. . . Sin will not destroy us in the reign of the Lamb, although we were to commit fornication a thousand times in one day." (Letter to Melanchton, August 1, 1521)
