People can spend time profitably for problems they can fix, they have to spend time praying to God for problems they cannot fix. More gets done when you get problems you can fix added with those that God can fix, not less.

Ironically a great deal of the good that is done in the world is done by people with a good prayer life.

Maybe when they pray they are also looking for a way to start fixing problems.

if you have to ask that question then you either don't know the power of prayer or you expect miracles but don't have faith.

I've always found that there are three answers to prayer..........yes, no or wait.....there are plenty of psalms in the bible that advise you to wait on the lord.
further you don't always know just whats good for you all of the time....god always has a plan

No. if someone prays properly, they know tht god is not a genie. They wont ask for "this and that" they will ask for the clearly and understadning to better themselves.

Only if your presuppositions define "praying" and "fixing" as two mutually exclusive activites.
