Besides the sinners prayer I do not think God hears the prayers of those who have not put their faith in Christ.

God is capable of hearing all prayers but he turns a deaf ear to the prayers of those who refuse to act in harmony with their prayers (ie: God, find me a job while I sit on the couch and watch tv) or those who continue to act in a way that is contrary to his will. It is true that Jesus is the only mediator between God and man but if God did not hear the prayers of those who do not know Christ yet, none of us would ever have come to know him.

I think God hears all prayers. I do think that the unrighteous people who pray do not have their prayers answered. The prayers of a righteous man avails much. So the prayers of an unrighteous man avails little.

I believe God hears every ones prayers, even and especially sinners. They are the ones He is trying to reach, hoping to reach. So He is listening, so He will know just the right time to send a Christian to lift them up, to help them.

Do you have children? Do you listen only to the child who pleases you? Of course not. You would listen to all your children, and so does God.

However, God is only a loving scientist from an advanced Planet, one with everlasting life.

As you have probably discerned by now, Sometimes you pray to God (for guidance or help) and he doesn't respond for a few days or so. He is not ignoring you, he is busy doing other things.

However, he is from an advance planet (9 billion years more advanced than us) so ... his computers record and handle your prayers and eventually get them back to God or maybe one of his clones.

Back to your question:

Only a selfish religious empire would teach its members that they are special children of God, and that God is a bad father in Heaven who mysteriously has the weirdness to not listen to his children that do not belong to this or that denomination or religion, or even non religion.

When I was young, I never respected or had faith in my Father. However, he listened to me when I ask him a question. I had no faith in him, but he had faith in me.

You may not believe in God, but he believes in you.

God hears the prayers of easily everyone. The passage you've is for the monks in Jesus time (and now) who in straight forward words communicate the words, yet do no longer believe or care about the meaning. they're better worried with exhibiting off how holy they're. They recognize the scripture, yet in straight forward words care about how they're precieved through their fellow guy. God is conscious the hearts of guy and that is how He can say He not in any respect knew them. They did works for themselves no longer for the Lord. In John 3:16 the in straight forward words thanks to the daddy is via the Son. Jesus grew to change into guy, suffered and died as a sacrifice to God the daddy to save guy from his sins. on the 0.33 day He rose from the useless. Later He asended into heaven and now sits on the right hand of God. settle for this present from Jesus and ask Him into your heart to be your own saviour. God will recognize your heart.

"God" may have heard my prayers but never got around to helping; ergo, there is no "God." Why do little children die painful deaths from cancer and OJ gets to walk around free? Nothing is fair. "God" is a figment of the imagination.
