I am in a rock band. this thing keeps appearing every time we practice. it looks like the lead singer of led zepplin. It always makes us an offer of more skill and power than even AC/DC! We don't know what to do, it scares us, but if it is true we aim to find out. we are going to contact it again and inquire. should we take this offer?

If it scares you, then why take the chance? Even Jesus was given the chance to be more powerful - he turned it down - it was not an offer coming from a person he trusted. Jesus is the most powerful person you can ever know, even the 'thing' knows that.

Those kinds of offers tend to come with strings attached, and big offers mean big price tags. 99.99% of the time, it's not worth it. Earn your successes honestly and you won't spend your life looking over your shoulder and wondering when you'll have to pay the piper.

You'd be better off trying to figure out how to fly. Demons don't exist, and even if they did, I highly doubt they'd bother with offering you a crapload of money.
