holiness? What i understand holiness is something God like from men and woman. In woman I think it's a bigger deal. Then again men are the leaders right? So woman do what men allow them to do right? Is it true that because men are perverted that it is why they let in the beggining woman start dressing in unhonest manners? is it all mans fault?

What do you think about your rewards in heaven? what kind of rewards might they be talking about?

Luke 6:23
"Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.

Matthew 5:12
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 6:20
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

what are your thoughts?

First, my Mamma Tatianna doesn't believe in God so I need you all to pray for her so that she can go to Heaven.

Second, I accidentally got my girlfriend pregnant. It was a stupid mistake that we just couldn't control. I promise it wont accidentally happen again so pray for our baby and for God to forgive us.

God didn't create Christians like me perfect, we all have problems. Thanks a lot.

What's the point? We all know how we feel before they ask their stupid question. It feels like sunday school on crack. Except its not fun.

The Christian's thought out answers are ignored, an the weirdos who asked the questions: fail to do anything except make Christians rememeber how they already feel about an issue.

according to the gospels you are supposed to keep alms-giving secretive, also with prayers and fasting, so you get your reward in heaven and not from people.

Did giving away all that money publicly cause Warren Buffet to miss out on all those heavenly rewards?

12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Some people like to say that God was making Abraham test himself, so that he, not God, would know he had enouth faith. But this is silly rationalization dismissed by the bible text itself.

Gen 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God.

Which part of the "NOW I KNOW" you don't understand?

SPOILER WARNING. If you have not read the books.

Here are only two examples. There are many, many more.

Harry Potter was christened (baptized) before his parents were killed. Sirius was his Godfather. Sirius is a star called “the morning star”. Jesus has also been called the morning star. Sirius had 3 friends. One, like a brother, was JAMES Potter. The other two were PETER Pettigrew and Remus JOHN Lupin. When Sirius died he went beyond the veil in his body. (like the Ascension of Jesus.) And Jesus hung out with who? Peter, James, and John.

When Dumbledore is killed, Rowling writes: “He seemed to hang suspended in midair under the shining skull.” Sounds like the place of the skull to me.

Do you see it now?

What should i do to guard my heart so i won't be "fall in love" with him? I do not want to have an unequal spiritually partner, though i have to admit he is a very nice, caring, gentle and patient man. The truth is, i can even see his character is better than some christian men who somehow "declare" their faith by saying but not in action. Pls give me wise advice to guard my heart. No rude and un-useful comments pls, i need advice over here. Thanks.

Not all the people who claim to be Christian really are. They may even seem like they follow every word God spoke, but given time, they will eventually show that they are not. Not all those that profess to be a Christian, really are. Christians know this, the Bible tells us we will "know them by their fruits".

If all non believers are so open minded and accepting, why cant you see that some so called Christians, just give the real Christians a bad name, and stop lumping all of us into one boat? Or do they prefer to be "close minded" and not accept us as individuals?

If it is inappropriate to approach someone on the street about the morality of their behavior (not for ye to judge...etc..) then is it any more appropriate to contribute to legislation that CONTROLS other people's behavior?

i was reaserching and found out back in the days catholic people change the 10 commandments one of the commandments was the second commandment Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. but alot of cathlics bow down to the saints and the virgin mary this is not right i am speaking my mind we need to let the people know that those are idols and we only worship jesus not the image of the virgin mary or any fake saints that are out there people wake up smell the coffee there shall have no idols none whats so ever may God bless you now and forever

I am doing a project on world religions and I want to know what Buddhists, Muslims, and Christians say about where you go. I am a Christian, so I already know what happens, but I need a Buddhist and Muslim point of view too. I would like other Christians input also. A few links as to where I could read more stuff about this on the internet would be helpful too. No sarcastic remarks, only serious answers please.

I was reading a question about people being from the same 'Cast', as in a religious sense. I had never heard this term before. I'm not religious myself, but thought it odd that I have never heard of it before. What does it mean? what religions have it?

I have seen a lot of hatred toward christians on here as well as on television. We really believe in what we teach. Most Christians are trying to help you by telling you the truth, and most non-christians think we are trying to push it down their throats.
Do you not see that we believe with all our hearts that you are in trouble and we are trying to get you not to go down that path because bad things are at the end of it. Who would not warn people if they really believed that other people were in trouble? Have you ever looked at this from our side, instead of hating us for sincerely trying to help you? Real christians are not trying to be mean, we just believe there is trouble on the road ahead of you and don't want you to take the wrong path. If a child was running into traffic, would you only tell them once, or do everything you could to save their lives?
