Jesus toldhis disciples that if they have faith they can even ask a mountain to jump into the ocean, and it will happen. But what did he say specifically they have to believe? Please provide references if you can.

Or is it possible that the faith he talked about was different from believing something?

I keep hearing people say its not a theory anymore, it is fact. And yet, everything I have read on it, scientific, not religious biased, still says it is an unproven theory.

So, Im curious, if you who call in fact, could provide me some non-biased links that state it is a proven fact. No books please, internet links only. Thanks.

Oh, and if you have some non-biased links stating it is not yet proven, Id appreciate those too.

God is the light of the heavens and the earth. His light is as if there were a lustrous niche, wherein is a lamp. The lamp is inside a glass-globe. The globe is, as it were, a glittering star. The lamp is lit from the oil of a blessed tree -an olive - neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil well-nigh would shine forth even though fire touched it not. Light upon light! God guides to His light whomsoever He pleases. And God sets forth parables for men, and God knows all things hidden.

Now I guess girls could answer this too. I am just directing it at the guys. Let's just suppose that Adam is brought back from the dead and was allowed to live among the humans of this 21st century [ with everything being the same as it is now}. If you were to bump into him, what would you as one of his male descendants do and say to him. I'm just curious.

P.S. by the way, Yes, in this supposed encounter, he is wearing clothes.

Many people who subscribe to the creationist theory don't believe in the existince of Neanterthals at all. Sceintists now claim to have found preserved Neanterthal DNA and are going to study the genome and compare it with Homo Sapiens and look for differences and similarities and pubish their findings in Major scientific papers. Do creationists actually think this is all a big hoax? I'd love to hear their thoughts on this.

Do Creationists believe that Neanterthals (non-human genetic ancestors) ever existed?

Adam and Eve had no awarness, no shame of their naked bodies, until they ate the apple according to biblical text. So if that is the case then so be made of sin, is to know sin, and sin is what ignorance, or is it awarness.

If there is no such thing as Evolution, how can you explain the different races? The Bible says "Man is created in the image of god." What is the image of god? How do we know what god even looks like? And how does this explain different eye colors, different skin colors, different hair colors, and even the different cultures? If we were "Created in the image of god" and never evolved from anything, shouldn't we all have the same eyes, the same skin colors, the same features and looks? My religion teaches us that the One Spirit created nature, and from nature everything came forth. Thats my stance on this issue, and I'm interested in hearing yours.

I got this today from a man who claims to be a Christian.

"there is a force other then the force of god,and the power of the devil. I am going to use it against you.You have an enemy now in me. because you are evil.No I am Not going to pray for you, you are evil.why should I pray for someone thats evil.you will begine to feel the effects soon.hopefully your life will end soon. I am not kidding, you think I am some one who prays for evil people, I am out to get you, you will pay for being evil.you reap what you sow, you have sown evil. you say your a demonoligist, you worship the devil. I am against the devil, I have killed devil worshippers, you are in my sights,I will hurt you thru this power, you invited me to do this to you, by insulting me question."

Or is this person just crazy and not really a Christian? Wow! I've never seen so much hatred and anger in one person before!

what happened throughout history when religious people went unchecked? There were the salem witch trials that claimed the life of 20 innocent people who were supposively "witches." The crusades where pagans, heretics and muslims were killed in the name of god. And don't forget 9/11. So how can anyone be blamed for being afraid of religious people being in power?

I have a question, I read in my bible the other day that there is only one sin that GOD cannot forgive, it's sinning against the holy ghost. I'm kind of new at this stuff, so what exactly does this mean?

There are some Christians who have nothing to do with any modern music... even contemporary Christian music. Is there any biblical evidence to support such beliefs?
