If there is no such thing as Evolution, how can you explain the different races? The Bible says "Man is created in the image of god." What is the image of god? How do we know what god even looks like? And how does this explain different eye colors, different skin colors, different hair colors, and even the different cultures? If we were "Created in the image of god" and never evolved from anything, shouldn't we all have the same eyes, the same skin colors, the same features and looks? My religion teaches us that the One Spirit created nature, and from nature everything came forth. Thats my stance on this issue, and I'm interested in hearing yours.

Explain how when the Romans made it to the British Islands, there was already a group of people with their own religiong there. Or how about when the Romans ventured into the northern most parts of Europe and found the Norsemen and their gods. And how about the dinosaurs and ice-age creatures, do you say that the fossils and remains that have been found are all fake? We have proof that creatures and religions have been around before the events in the bible, but can you explain them?

I don't say that evolution does not exist, I say that however life came to be, God put it there. In other words, if there is evolution, God started it. Maybe there was a Big Bang, but God started it. That's all.

I read the Bible in Genesis somewhere that when the people started creating the tower of Babel that it made God angry and that he separated them and they spoke different languages. I believe that this is the time that the continents were separated and the different races were formed to co-exist with the environment that they lived in.

Read Genesis verse 1 & 2. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. What that means to me is that this earth has always been from the beginning and you do not know how much time lapsed between verse 1 and verse 2. I believe there were dinosaurs but I don't believe that they lived among humans. For some reason, God got pissed and threw that asteroid at the earth and there was nothing left here but darkness and water. He waited how many ever million years to start a new project - humans. What's after us? We can only guess.

No, all the races and different languages began after the Tower of Babel, which occurred a few generations after the Flood. Remember that Noah and his family were all one race, but nobody knows exactly what color they were. When they got off the boat, they had lots and lots of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At the Tower of Babel, they all spoke one language, so God went down and mixed up their tongues so they couldn't understand each other. He knew that if they could all understand each other, there would be no limits to what these sinful people could do. This impeded their progress, so they left off building the Tower and scattered across the globe.
From that point, Mendelian genetics would take effect (which is NOT evolution). You know, gene pools and people tend to marry those who look like them. I don't think that geography has much to do with the color of people's skin, since Africans are pretty much the same color from north to south, and there are some pretty light-skinned people at equatorial latitudes across the globe. I think it's just a case of people who look similar intermarrying.

ok, wow you have a lot on your mind, huh? Fisrt of all, We arent made in the exact image of God, that verse in the Bible refers to us having the ability to decipher between right and wrong. God made each and every person living on the earth. All that you are talking about has nothing to do with evolution ( by the way, evolution is not real ) evolution says that man (and woman) just popped up out of nowhere as a monkey (crazy) then began to morph, or whatever, into a man looking human(even crazier). All the religions, and races, and hair colors, and eyes colors, all that stuff, someof it was divided (like religions and races) that was divided at the tower of babel( this is also in the Bible) the other things(like i said before) God made the way He wanted them to be made. God has been around forever (thats hard to understand, but thats one of the things that you just have to believe) and in the beginning of the world, he spoke and whatever he spoke happened, like light, and land, and sea, and animals, and the last thing he made was man, or Adam, out of Adam, God took a rib and made Eve, God is a miraculous God, he is awesome beyond our wildest beliefs, you've gotta believe Him, not some theories, like evolution, that haven'e been proven at all. Jesus Loves You

different skin shade is not evolution, the skin is exactly the same skin on all peoples, it is related to the climate of the races and is a pigment(Melanin) increase to aid against the sun, and in the same way to aid in severe cold climates.
we are created in the spiritual image of God ,that is to be holy, we have lost our original state of holiness since the disobedience of our first parents.
the Bible tells us the creative order of everything made by God, and it is interesting that man was created on the 6th and final day ,so that everything would be already in place for him.

Different races, evolution, changing to the enviroment. I believe we have evolved as a species, taller than we used to be, that kind of thing. Because of breeding, enviromental, and nutrional diffrences. We even live longer than our ancestors did.

I believe God created nature, and from God everything came forth, not from some common ancestor to the apes. I dont believe in Darwins Evolution theroy, but I believe we have evolved, and will continue to.

The most controversial aspect of evolution is; everything arose from the primordial soup. Yet the oldest known creatures were monstrous in size.. sort of defies the entire theory.

Last time I checked all the different races are still people.. I have never heard that Christians don't except variation within a species. But that is what we call it variation not evolution... Jim

How can chocolate labs give birth to yellow labs and chocolate labs? It happens throughout nature with different animals and even people, hair color, eye color, skin color, all of that. I understand your point I think but you really need to think about things before you ask. Do you remember the tower of babel? Do you remember what happened after that? It sounds like you should study each religion a little bit closer before you commit to just one.

You have confused yourself. Look at the differences in the same family over generations as they grow. Do all the kids look the same, or have the same eyes and nose, etc.?

The "image of" doesn't mean exact duplicate.
