What's the point? We all know how we feel before they ask their stupid question. It feels like sunday school on crack. Except its not fun.
The Christian's thought out answers are ignored, an the weirdos who asked the questions: fail to do anything except make Christians rememeber how they already feel about an issue.

hey buddy, u ask a christian question: You get a Christian answer
and i carefully selected the word "weirdos" so if you don't belive someone to be a weirdo, then this question does not aply to them=no reason to get angry

Because they aren't thought out answers, they're "the bible says so" answers.
Seriously.... you believe in a 2000 year old book written during a time when we believed in dragons, by long dead men, where an omnipotent omnicient being controls everything, a staff turns into a snake, a sea parts, a man is born of this omnicient ominipotent being without the being ever touching the woman involved, water turns into wine, a man walks on water, and a man rises from the dead..... and you call US weirdos?
Think about that a little. You might as well believe in fairies, leprachauns, etc. Because that book is just about as likely.

Some of us 'weirdos' here are actually quite knowledgable about Christianity, its origins, practices and texts. Others specialise in different religions or religious philosophy. We'd like to have a conversation.
It is true that many Christians will not consider anything other than their particular section of belief to be correct. But there are a few who are willing to participate in a dialogue. Some of the questions are for them.
It's just par for this course that we have to look through screens of chapter and verse to hear from them. It's worth it though.

"Why to weirdos" that makes a whole lot of sense................
"Weirdos, Stupid"??? Now don't your religion teach you not to judge others? Well that is what you are doing right now. I suggest you spend a Little more time in Sunday school and lay off the crack then maybe you would know a bit more about your own religion. FYI I have only came across a few answers from Christians which were thought out answers. Most are copy and paste bible script or reply saying "Because god said so."

I ask questions because:
a) I'm studying folklore & mythology. I find people's beliefs fascinating. For the most part, I hold this place at arm's length and am not "involved"; the one time I did ask a question about something near to my heart, some pretty awful things were said to me and I left for a bit. No more asking questions that make me cry when I type them.
b) I'm looking for clarification on things in religions that a book can't explain.

Because there are those people who have no idea what a fish is, When you look at a fish then you have to realize the wisdom inherent in their eyes. The Anti-Fishites are the worst type of people and they flame every type of belief that is out there, I mean this is a serious problem which has to be dealt with. We got freaky anti-fish people going around raping our minds with thei mumbo jumbo and no one does anything. That is why wierdo's drill christians because they are different.
P.S. also because baby jesus wasn't slapped at birth

As a Christian, I don't mind when "weirdos" crack on my faith...sometimes they have actually made me think, and thus, they have helped me to strengthen my faith.
Sure, some of them do it to try to prove to themselves that my faith is wrong, let them have their little victories, in the long run, it doesn't really matter. God will have the final say.
With that, I am content.....

Don't you remember what happened throughout history when religious people ran around unchecked? There were witch hunts, people were massacred in the name of god and religious oppression by other religious nuts. If it was not for logical people, we would all be brainwashed to worship some "half baked" religion.

Its a persecution. What they are doing is seeing if we really are christians, like we claim. They are testing us to see if our faith is real.
SADLY, this persecution leads to the ultimate test of faith, one's life, when the persecutor causes violence to be initiated upon another because of his beliefs.
Christian-bashing is a mild form of this persecution. The very sad part is that the christian-bashers have it in their heart to destroy the christian ideology, and all who adhere to it. While they may be too weak to do this, let us not forget that when the anti-christians become a majority, the desires of their heart will be made manifest.....at our expense. So be it.
Nothing could be more glorious than being persecuted for the name of Jesus. We should count it a blessing.

Did you ever watch Independence Day? We were throwing everything we had against those lousy invaders, even Randy Quaid and nuclear missiles. None of it mattered. The Earth was doomed. Until one clever WEIRDO, Jeff Goldblum, figured out how to plant the seed AND THE EARTH WAS SAVED!!! It's just a matter of time...
