What do you think about your rewards in heaven? what kind of rewards might they be talking about?
Luke 6:23
"Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
Matthew 5:12
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 6:20
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Rewards are described as crowns.. Then we take these rewards and cast them at the feet of Jesus because he is the only one really worthy... Jim

You are very interested in the christian heaven, may i ask why?
I think that what we are going to get something unimaginable, so I don't really worry about trying to figure it out. When I was younger I used to say this about heaven: We each go our own little planet, and that is why god invented planets. We get to have anything we want on the planets, and whoever we want, and god will always be there.
I don't think that this is what heaven is now, because I was young and I thought only of material things. Now I have a different view....I think that we will have ultimate happiness: we will be loved and cared for frever by god, and the rest really doesnt matter. We will be so happy that we have found pure love, we won't be able to be sad or angry...it does sound selfish, but if everyone has it then it's all good right?

Good question Chippy! There will be many rewards- that which I do not know of. I do know we will receive a crown- and I do know that I want to cast my crown at Jesus' feet. But as far as other rewards- I cannot say. And the store up your treasures in heaven is speaking of how things in this world are going to burn someday- they do not last- they are temporary. But Heaven is forever so we need to keep our minds on the things of God.
And jiggy- Good verses!!

For Those of us of The True Christian Faith we are not to dwell on any rewards. We will receive what we receive. If any act is done with the thought of getting a reward it will not be rewarded, or, it will not be rewarded as we would like.

For me, just being with Jesus will be reward enough....and more than I deserve, anyhow.
