Jesus was a great man, whenever I read about him it gives me goosebumps. But he was not a blonde haired person as depicted in pictures. What was the conspiracy behind portraying him as a blonde haired, light skin, blued eyed person. Is it to make more europeans accept christianity becuase fundamentally europeans wouldn't have listened to even God if he was dark skinned.

Darfur proves how backwards Islam is. That being said, George W. Bush worships Mammon as much as God.

does the opening have to be so narrow? Are you so rigid in your belief or non belief that you cannot at least open it a little bit wider to hear the opinions of others before you slam it shut?

It is one of the leading doctrines of Romanism that the pope is the visible head of the universal church of Christ, invested with supreme authority over bishops and pastors in all parts of the world. More than this, the pope had arrogated the very titles of Deity. He styles himself “Lord God the Pope,” assumes infallibility, and demands that all men pay him homage. Thus the same claim urged by Satan in the wilderness of temptation is still urged by him through the Church of Rome, and vast numbers are ready to yield him homage.

But shouldn’t those who fear and reverence God meet this Heaven-daring assumption as Christ met the solicitation of the wily foe? “Thou salt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” – Luke 4:8. God has never given a hint in his word that he has appointed any man to be the head of the church. The doctrine of papal supremacy is directly opposed the teachings of the Scriptures. The pope can have no power over Christ’s church except by usurpation.

So why don’t Catholics worship ONLY God, this is a very serious matter, please note my references:
Ex:34:14: For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Isa:43:11: I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isa:45:6: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me.I am the LORD, and there is none else.

A question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoxVBPGJNEVWPZl20CpN1yjzy6IX?qid=20061114065413AA8wGHI

How can ANYONE say that that is proof of God?!?! People see Jesus in a darn grilled cheese sandwich. But the image that they see is the media's view on how Jesus looked. Some people can see a Ghost, Elves, Tinkerbelle or even Mickey Mouse in a paint splotch, does that make them real?

Does that "man on the moon" face on the moon mean that there really is a man on the moon?!? (http://www.bmagshop.co.uk/assets/userimages/face_of_the_moon.jpg

IMAGES prove nothing. How can SOME Christians save that there is proof in Jesus in a gold nugget but disregard FACTS of BIOLOGY?!?

Is your magic strong enough that you could convince me that it is real? I'm skeptical but willing to give you a fair chance.

That don't wana stop saying "you are sinful"? I know I am sinful, every person that can think for themselve is sinful. That why I pray to God to help guide and assist me.

Do you (christians) think you are sinless becoz "JESUS DIED FOR US/YOU"? On the contrary. you still commit sin everyday.

That's why Jesus' sacrifice don't make sense. And please don't bring up the churches definitions about sin, I know them all.

And please don't report this coz this question is asked with all ernest and truth.

your moral and religious beliefs. My fried and I are both Christians, she does not believe in gay rights, but I find nothing wrong with it. She called me a "half Christian" and now refuses to talk to me. Does anyone else have this problem?

Do you hold the belief of god more important than the act of being a good person? Can you do one without the other or do you consider it the same thing?

about 7 years ago a friend of mine was in a horrible car accident. his car was all but obliterated(as bad as you see on the drunk-driving educational movies). when he told me about it, he said the entire car was destroyed except for the area immediately around him. he's religious so he described it as like a handprint was around his body. he should have been dead. he did suffer some injuries but he was basically no worse for wear. so...do you believe it was divine intervention(please don't refer to god as people have different views on what's divine), or was it luck? or was it simply a well-made car doing what it was designed to do? or something else?
