NO. Only the young and impatient pray like that. THe elderly and respectful at my church pray silently and slowly. The rosary should take anywhere between fifteen minutes to a half an hour to pray (depending on how slow yougo and if you really concentrate on the mysteries.) Saying it fast to hurry is disrespectful.

I *do* find the saying of the Rosary to be disrespectful - **WHEN IT'S DURING THE MASS**!!
I know it's an old habit with some people - but - the Mass is the central act of our Christian worship, and Christ's Real Presence deserves our entire attention.
We should be offering "ourselves, our souls and bodies, to be a reasonable, holy and living sacrifice" unto God during the Mass.
Any other time, I think that the Rosary said at a nice, even and prayerful pace is wonderful, and I practice it myself.
I do find that some people do tend to say it awfully fast, and use it more like a mantra. If they want to say it that way, I have no problem with it - but they should save that method for when they are alone.

Praying the rosary is about the meditation not the words. Any time spent in prayer is not wasted. Lay the roses of our Lady`s song at her feet, she will make the boquet to our Lord Her Son on our behalf.

Sometimes it does. I feel that maybe they should slow down and enunciate...but the rosary is more about the meditation on the mysteries than about the words.

Get a grip. You want God to be more critical of your response to them than their prayers to him?
Elders are near the end of their lives, for pity's sake, cut a little slack.
Those folks believe what you believe, love whom you love and are dedicated to going to church. Pray louder yourself, if their precious offerings irritate you.
You'll be there in no time, chill out.
