which often is in complete defiance of common sence observations of the physical universe in which we live.
We look at physical records of the earths and mankinds
existance and then told by religious leaders to ignore our
own human minds and and intelect as the flesh and as such corrupted and not to be considered relyable. I have to wonder
if I being an intellegenge being created by my God in my Gods
image is supposed to assume that my God is also bonded to
have to believe the immaginary hogwash that is put forth as
divinly inspired truth. God I hope not.

Ok, I have 2 questions, Does God forgive you if you did something wrong, and you knew it was wrong when you did it? I asked for forgiveness and I truley mean it...but still feel like crap! # 2, I promised God something a few years ago and I broke that promise, could he possibly forgive me?

What would you do if the God of the Bible suddenly appeared, and let you give your reason why He should let you into Heaven? What would you say?

I should probably make some note that I don't want responses of stubborn, close-minded denial of God, like "It doesn't matter, he doen't exist." If that's your mind set, don't bother answering. I'm looking for a logical "If...then..." And don't turn it around on me, I'm not completely closed to atheism, this is just hypothetical. I know most of you can answer it correctly, but there are always some who will skip the question to defend their views on atheism. You don't have to tell me that, I will assume you are an atheist if you say you are. I also don't want the "1+1=3" logical reasoning, because God appearing is logically possible.

Anyway, what would you do if you had to "take the stand", tell God why, after all these years of denouncing Him, he should let you into Heaven?

Isaiah 29:12: “And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, “Read this, I pray thee” and he saith, “I am not learned.”

Isaiah 28:10-11: “For precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to his people.”

Zephaniah 3:9: “For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.”

I'm in the military and was a part of a funeral today. After we gave the proper respects for a fallen comrade, the family let white doves out. I asked a few people and they said it was a sign that the person's soul is being sent to heaven. But where did it all originate from? How did this tradition get started? How many doves do they release and is there a corelation with their age? I just thought it was interesting that many people know about this tradition, but no one seems to know anything about it. Can anyone help me out?

While I am a Christian, I came out to all of my friends, even at church, and let them know that I practice Witchcraft. I would love some advice on how to deal with those who are particularly hurtful in their judgemant and condemnation. Thanks to all in advance and Blessed Be.

How can that be since God is Perfect and can never make a mistake?

Isn't it a logical and contradicting conclusion then?

Do you see now why should we not drag God or religion into invasions, subversions and hegemony for democracy, freedom, liberty, oil and greed?

I just read a thread asking whether atheists had any criticisms about Buddhism. From what I read there was pretty much little criticism offered against buddhism.

Please no "Buddhism sucks" responses and I would appreciate honest answers.

If there is really very little or no criticism that can be presented regarding buddhism just say "no criticisms" or something similar.

Thanks in advance.
