Ok, I have 2 questions, Does God forgive you if you did something wrong, and you knew it was wrong when you did it? I asked for forgiveness and I truley mean it...but still feel like crap! # 2, I promised God something a few years ago and I broke that promise, could he possibly forgive me?

The answer for both is a resounding YES! God is the God of second chances. They key to the forgiveness that you will receive once you ask Him is that 1) You asked and 2) You were GENUINELY sorry for the sin that you have committed against Him.
God Knows that we are human and He knows that we will do some things that are wrong, that is why He sent His Son to die for us...so that we will have the opportunity to gain forgiveness and grace and mercy and most of all...SALVATION!

If you are new to walking in life as a child of God or even if you have been in it for years, I would advise that you get a spiritual prayer partner and a confidant with whom you can learn and grow from and with on this wonderful journey called life!

God loves you SOOOOOO very much! You are forgiven, because He is such a wonderful God!

If you do not have anyone with whom you can have a partnership of prayer or a spiritual confidant, I would be more than happy to stand in that gap if you would like.

1) ask the Holy Spirit for guidance to see sins as they really are
2) be truly sorry for your sins
3) ask forgiveness, and understand that forgiveness is complete
4) take the punishment
5) go and sin no more.

If you hold back, or are not really sorry, you are not forgiven.
If you doubt that God forgives you, that too, is a sin.
Don't make promises you can't keep, but God understands your heart more intimately than you can yourself. That's why step 1) is so important.

im really not much of a preacher so my answer will be short in comparrison to wiser Christians. the answer to both those questions is yes. God is a loving and forgiving. it doesn't matter that you did something wrong or broke a promise. He will never break his promise to always forgive you.

and if you want to know more theres a whole book on this stuff. the bible. or ask your local pastor.God Bless.

God forgives any wrong doing that you sincerely ask forgiveness for. God knows that you will do wrong things and he knows that you will break promises. You are only human. Just pray and ask for God's forgiveness and comfort. Just tell him how you really feel and then realize that it is now in God's hands.

Ask for forgiveness from the person you wronged. You know they exist and you have no proof that a god exists. Why would your god care if you broke a promise to him. Has he ever made a promise to you? Not bible crap, but to you personally? I would guess no. So, live your life now because that is all you are gonna get.

He always forgives us. The only thing mentioned in the Bible that says that will not be forgiven us is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Anything else will be forgiven if we ask with truly repentant hearts. What you're feeling is guilt, not because you didn't repent, but because Satan is always trying to make us think that we are not worthy of God's forgiveness. We have to resist Satan, and anytime you start feeling bad, just quote what the angel said in the book of Jude when he faced the devil "God rebuke thee." He cannot win. We have the victory already.

There's God and there's everyone else. Did you hurt someone else? Have you tried to make some kind of restitution to that person? As for your promise to God, is it something that can be renewed, or maybe modified into something meaningful today? I'm sure God doesn't mind if you transform your effort. The important thing is to make an effort.

God will always forgive you no matter what. there's is only one unforgivable sin and that is blaspheming the holy spirit. all you have to do is ask and He will give it to you. you might just be feeling guilty. could it be that you have to ask someone else's forgiveness? God's policy is forgive and forget. God doesn't remember and keep track of all your sins. when you ask for forgiveness He separates them from himself as far as the east is from the west. He's not thinking about it so why should you still be holding it against yourself?

First of all, are saved? Second, did you ever confess your sins?Find a bible(basic instructions before leaving earth) and read Romans 10:9-13.Read and mean it. Confess and your burdens shall be lifted. Our God is a forgiving God. We're human and of course we always make promises to God and break them. We're not God. God has a plan for each and one of us. He loves us because we're His children. He just don't like the sinful things we're doing. Making promises is like making deals with Him and it just doesn't work that way. He wants us to be obedient and good servants. Good rewards and blessings awaits for being followers of Christ. Yes, God forgives you.

Forgiveness is a facet of Jehovah's great love. In his Word, he assures us that when we manifest genuine, heartfelt repentance, he is willing to forgive. Proverbs 28:13- He that is covering over his transgressions will not succeed, but he that is confessing and leaving [them] will be shown mercy. Jehovah is aware of our limitations. "He himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust," says Psalm 103:14. He does not forget that we are creatures of dust, having frailties, or weaknesses, as a result of imperfection. Hence, Jehovah knows that perfect obedience is not possible for us, no matter how earnestly we may yearn to give it to him. He lovingly assures us that when we seek his mercy with a contrite heart, he will extend forgiveness. Psalm 51:17 says: "The sacrifices to God are a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise." Jehovah will never reject, or turn away, a heart that is "broken and crushed" by the burden of guilt.
