christians don't care about the details of the bible that don't match because they are going to interpret everything to match their own political agendas, anyway.
Nice try, though.

Looks like two different people. And you are confusing the names of the sons of Nebuchadnezzar in the spelling of their names.
Jehoiakim slept with his fathers.
Jehoiachin reigned in his stead.and reigned for three months. He was eighteen when he started his reign. It does not say anything about the number of months. Ah the person in 11Chronicles 36 :9 that you are talking about is named Jehoahaz the son of Josiah. And he was 23yrs old when made king. And also only reigned for three months in Jerusalem.
I take it you are using the KJV Bible.

In the NAB bible both of these verses state he was18 yrs old when he became king.
In 2 Kings, it says he reigned for 3 months in Jerusalem, then Nebuchadnezzer, king of Babylon, attacked Jerusalem & took over the city. Jehoiachin surrendered to Nebuchadnezzer when Nebuchadnezzer was king for 8 yrs in Jerusalem. Nebuchadnezzer deported Jehoiachin to Babylon along with the captives (7000 men of the army & 1000 craftsmen).
In 2 Chron., it says that Jehoiachin was king for 3 months [and 10 days] in Jerusalem then Nebuchadnezzer sent for him and had him brought to Babylon.
There are reasons why some things are in [ ] but I can't find where it talks about that. So, these 2 verses have the same 3 months rule. One added 10 days. Not sure but will ask my scholar friend this one also.
