Mike,

Praise God that you have accepted the calling to walk in His ways! I rejoice with the angels in that. I would be honored to be a part of that walk with you, I am a Christian for about 20 years now and have, through Christ, beat my own addictions. Do you live in Cincinnati?

I see u are a bengals fan, that is why I asked. I am in Cincinnati as well...so email me at pinkpearl0872@yahoo.com and I will continue to walk with you and pray with and for you and be a christian friend to you on this journey!

Hey Mike. Recognizing these addictions is a great first step to overcoming them. I will pray that Lord will help you deal with this. Internet porn is a tough one, you may need an accountability partner (google "covenant eyes" ) or cut the internet off. God bless Mike.

God bless you! Todd Friel has a good CD on porn addiction called "Slaying the Dragon". You can hear what he has to say on the subject by going to his Sept. 30th podcast at: http://www.wayofthemasterradio.com/podcast/index.php?s=pornography
Remember, God has given you a new heart with new desires. He will strengthen you. You are in my prayers, dear brother.

You know...this happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was on my treadmill, listening to some unGodly songs on my Ipod (they have a great beat, it's easier to keep on that stupid treadmill listening to songs like that)...and I was thinking about my niece, who is in all sorts of trouble; living with a guy, getting into the occult, and I was praying that God would lead her away from worldly things. Do you know what He said? It was something along the lines of, "as soon as you turn from worldly things, I will deal with her worldly things..." I was open mouthed. I ripped off that Ipod, went over to my shelf and started pulling out every single video, book, CD, everything, that had anything remotely sinful on it. Then I deleted the playlist on my Ipod I had been listening to.

Please hear me, it is no joke. GET RID OF EVERYTHING in your house that remotely has anything sinful connected to it. Jesus said, if your right hand offends you, cut it off. That means, don't have anything around you that can tempt you to sin. This is no game...it is serious. Satan wants to keep hold of you, and you must fight fire with fire. Get rid of it, all of it, and I pray God strengthen you to live a righteous and pure life. And I pray that for me, too!

Hi
to answer the heart of the issue.......
once in grace always in grace??http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/? NO.
God did not die so we can sin as much as we can/want.
read the last verses in Revelation.
It says that if ANYONE adds/takes away from the bible that they will BE BLOTTED OUT OF THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE(HEAVEN).
***THINK ABOUT IT.... to be blotted OUT, you first must be IN.
the link provided should be a concise help.
I pray you seek the truth and do not die in your sins.
God does forgive us, but we must ask.

WELL DEAR NEW BROTHER IN CHRIST-ALL THE THING YOU SAID WILL NOT KEEP YOU FROM CHRIST.
YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN KEEP YOU FROM CHRIST.
PUT JESUS FIRST -SELF LAST
I SERVED GOD FOR YEARS SMOKING,CRYING OUT FOR JESUS TO DELIVER ME.HE NEVER DID.
SO I MADE UP MY MIND THAT I WAS GOING TO QUITE.HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE.
BUT I DID IT.(DROVE EVERYONE AROUND ME CRAZY)5 YEARS LATER. I STILL CRAVE A SMOKE SOMETIMES.
BUT I LEARNED THAT -LIFE IS HARD-I AM NOT PERFECT-I HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE ANOTHER. I LEARNED MOST OF ALL -TO LOVE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST,NO MATTER WHAT.
THE HOLY GHOST WILL CLEAN THEM UP-ITS NOT MY JOB.
\O/ GOD BLESS\O/

Please get rid of all of the immoral material and everything you have dealt with as a non-believer. Start praying and reading the Bible. I am going to say a prayer for you.

Dear Lord, please bless Mike as he strives to live a life for you. Please help him to get rid of these evil objects that are full of sin. Please help Mike to turn to You for guidance and to put his full faith, hope, and trust in You. Please help Mike to be a good Christian witness and use his testimony to reach others for You, Lord. I pray in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.

God bless and best wishes.
