Any comment to the following observation:

Logic dictates that not a single thing comes from nothing. My Adidas shoes did not just magically appear. Someone made my shoes. The Universe, the human body are too complicated, their system thoroughly synchronized that it is MATHEMATICALLY IMPROBABLE for these to just happen by chance.

The onus--the burden of proof-- is on the side of those who believe in Evolution. Now, prove to me how by chance my eyes and hand can coordinate w/ each other?

I've been told it is because they are gross and that if they lick you it is some how bad. I've done some reading and dog licks and bites (sans rabies) are not harmful. The germs a dog carries in his mouth are less harfmul to us than the germs we carry in ours. What gives?

I've heard that it will be 2009 or 2010 (depending on who I've asked). What's the legitimate calendar, and are there any online resources to help calculate this and other ritual dates?

That was asked a minute ago and then taken away and I thought it was a good question. I feel that the TV is a good example of Satan being able to bring in his wickedness into our homes.
We invite mob bosses and serial killers and all kinds of violence into our homes. A community has a certain spirit. Like in the olden days they helped one another. Today they are afraid to.
The bible says: The love of the greater number would cool off.
What do you think it means that is just my idea?

It seems that alot of creationists use the argument that "since science hasn't explained it all yet, God MUST be the only alternative". Isn't that a little shortsited?

Just because science can't explain where stuff came from is "GOD" a better answer?

I'd love to hear of REAL evidence for intelligent design. Like God's hidden signature on a painting or something...

.

The Statement is: YOU ARE GOING TO HELL.

Do Atheists hear this as the equivalent of an upraised middle finger?
Do Christians hear it as the spiritual equivalent of "Watch out for the poison ivy?"

I have probably over-generalized, so feel free to comment. And if you discover that people are not hearing your intended message, consider that the responsibility for clearing the static lies chiefly with the speaker.

I am not a christian
If you r a christian, seeming as though, being lazy, worshiping idols and having random sex with poeple, etc are sinns, why do so many christians do this but judge others on what they do. I believe that rotting in front of the TV and computer monitors is being lazy and worshiping idols at the same time. people that say they r christians because they believe they r going to heaven, worship there playstations and xboxes. infact I think if u asked a christian person which he/she loves more, he/she would say god but deep in side would love tv, platstation more. have u seen how those girls screem and cry infront of there favourite singers, i mean they r just normal poeple for f sakes. I believe being a fan of any singer or band is worshiping them. in the bible it says that you should love god more than your family and friends, if u dont u r "not fit for the kingdome of heaven". not many christians do this. it seems as if its a bribe, if u be good and u can go to heaven

I'm sick of people using the bible as evidence for the bible! The bible says it's the one right way. The bible says Jesus is the only son of God. The bible says to question the bible is wrong. The bible says the bible is perfect so it's perfect.

Why is the bible the only book? Where are the other books about evidence of Jesus's resurrection? If there was more evidence and corroboration stories there wouldn't be so much questioning. Didn't God forsee this?

Daniel 9:26 - "and after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off.."
In Scripture, is this not a reference to death.

See also prophecies that parallel the suffering of Y'Shua in Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53, as well as the predicted birthplace in Bethlehem (Micah 5:3).

translations, so does that mean St. Paul was wrong when he quoted Scripture from the Septuagint? You would think that if the Septuagint was all wrong then someone-- Jesus, an Apostle or someone would have said "hey, this Scripture we're using isn't right you know" So was Paul wrong?

I've heard of some people giving out tracts for Halloween.

Let me just say that in my personal opinion, this is a very bad idea. Kids want candy! If you give them anything else, they are going to think you are WAY UNCOOL. And they will not be pleased with your religion either. It is not a good way at all to represent your faith.

What do you think?

without the help of other mormon members, priests, bishops whatever. so now i wonder. what is the mormon view on miricals. ill tell u right now i have seen way to many to begin telling you on this site. many miracles god has done for me, my family, and my friends. i see them every day! and i know without a doubt that it was god and only god could do them. no man could do what i have seen him do. so i wanna know if mormons believe its all god, or if god needs help with them, or if its just a coincidence?

Yes, I am a die hard liberal commie democrat. This country was founded on freedom FROM religion. All people have the right to worship as they please, or not worship, too. No one should be allowed to force their rediculous religious beliefs on me using the laws.
