Since an omniscient god would already know what you need from him, and know weather or not it fits his plan he would use his omnipotence to provide you with what you need... So why would anyone ever need to pray for say a friends health or safety, or to come into some money so you can make the next pay check? If it's in the plan he's already got it covered, right?

Or perhaps he isn't omiscient, omnipotent, or both.

we don't. There are trick or treaters at my door right now as I write and I won't answer. I used to go to bed early to avoid them, but then I started feeling 'put upon' becuase someone else wanted to celebrate "the Living Dead"

I believe that is where you go when you die.

because, as the bible says, there is only one mediator between God and man. (1 Timothy 2:5)

When I ask my friends to pray for me I usually ask the ones who are closest to God, because they are most likely to pray. Is that wrong?

As Mary is to be called "blessed" by all generations, and was one of the people closest to God when he walked the earth, is it wrong to ask her to pray for me?

May God give you His peace!

And don't give me that stuff about all the evidence that Jesus was a real person. I accept that, but what evidence is there to believe that Jesus was God, rather than, say, John Elway being God?

God made it very easy to get into heaven.

Simply put, all you have to do is die, and you go on to heaven. It doesn't matter how and when, we go on to heaven.

Then why are we wasting time being alive then?

Why did he give us life in the first place, when we all can just be in heaven right now?

about Atheist's getting married? Or Muslim's, or Taoist's, or Buddhist's, or Pagan's? Are these marriages less valid legally because your God didn't sanctify them? If upon succeeding in blocking the rights of these people to wed, who's rights are next?

Malik's Muwatta Book 38, Number 4448:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
If a man who is not married is seized committing sodomy, he will be stoned to death.

...................................................................................................

This contradicts the teachings of the Prophet, who decreed that all sodomites must be killed:

Book 38, Number 4447:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If you find anyone doing as Lot's people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done.

I realize that no one wants others to "push" their beliefs on them. But what else bothers you about Christians? I'm not asking what bothers you about Christian doctrine. I'm asking what bothers you about Christians. Please answer honestly and without sarcasm. If there is something I'm doing ( as a Christian) that bothers you, I would like to know about it. If I can change my behavior (without denying my faith) I would like to know what it is you think Christians should do/not do that is so bothersome. Thanks.

How exatcly does it affect them? "protect the sanctity of marriage"...
People didn't want blacks to be free because "how can people with no soul want to be free"...
People didn't want women to vote to "protect family values"...
Anybody sees a pattern? Man, should have been born a couple generations ahead...coz hopefully they'll be more enlightened than mine.

The World Book Encyclopedia, Britannica, and all reputable reference materials traced Christendom's teaching to the Greek and Pagan Philosopher, Plato. Among these Platonist idea engrafted into the "Church" teachings are: (a) the Trinity, and (b) Hell- fire.

The Bible says that there is only one true God (Jehovah), and that Christ is the worshipper of Jehovah. Read John 20:27; John 14:28; 1Corin 11:3.

Also, the Bible says that the dead knows nothing. A dead person returns to dust, not to an imaginary place or condition. ( Eccl 9:5)
Even Jesus said that no one--those born before him including Abraham, and Moses, etc--have gone to heaven. ( John 3:13)

So, how do you refute these reference materials. Say, that they are wrong? But really how?

For example, although my parents do not wish for me to be attached to the Jehovah's Witnesses, they are acting prejudiced, too.
They don't allow me to talk to them just because of their religion, and my entire family detests them.

However, I know that whatever we are doing now( E.g, celebrating Christmas, B-Days, Halloween) is wrong.
Everytime I try to convince them to trust them without the religion, they yell at me.

I’ve lead a despicable life full of lust, disobedience, pride, resentment, revengefulness, hatred, self-righteous, apathy, laziness, lies, manipulation. etc etc etc

An im deeply ashamed of that, like it saids in The Holy Bible “For the legacy of the fool is shame”. Im full with regret but im happy now for the first time in a long time truly happy , thanks to the Holy Spirit “for the fruit of the spirit is joy”.

Like it saids in The Holy Bible terror comes for me at night and my sleep isn’t sweet. (Thanks too the Holy Prince thought it’s gotten much much much better)

As I was reading the new testament I saw where The Noble Knight and Valiant Prince Lord Jesus Christ; rebukes two peoples from two different cities for not repenting and he said something on the grounds of if Tyre and another city were told what was told to you they would surely be all dressed in sackcloth an with ashes on there head; mourning.

So I want some sack cloth (and would like too know out of what wood if it is a wood, that they got there ashes from)

Because truly my sins are huge!

Hopefully The Prince of Peace's mercy and grace, mixed with my mourning and sackcloth mixed with ashes can save me from hell!
