All the time. I also hear His voice.
I had never heard Father God's voice before until this year. 2006 has been spiritual learning for me. He sounds like the guy quoting the www.fathersloveletter.com & also the voice of God talking to "Hermie the Catepillar" DVD. So, I believe those two authors have heard the voice of Father God also. They were inspired by Father God.
When I have doubted God, I can feel awful. It always happen when I doubt God. So feelings can tell you something. God lets one know doubting Him doesn't please Him.
So, God talks to us many different ways. Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus or Father God. Sometimes He lets one of His Prophets talk to you. God always agrees with God. No disagreement between the Holy Spirit, Jesus & Father God. Also, God never contradicts His Word in the Holy Bible.

Yes, it sometimes when I worry, it's like I hear that still small voice whisper,Trust me. This one may seem unreal, but let me
tell you the story. I had just puchased a new computer. I was
trying to learn a lot in a short amount of time. I had a lot of ideas as to what I might do with it. I was starting to think it might be a waste of money for me. One morning I was frustrated, completely
frustrated. I ask God ,"Do you want me to learn how to use this
thing? Show me. Make it plain." Nothing, but the dead silence.
I thought this is probably the dumbest thing I've ever done.
Finally I heard that still small voice. You might think it is like
a thought that enters my mind. Anyway it entered my mind.
"Are you going to use it for my glory?" The answer was ,"Sure,
Lord, but You know my typing." I figured OK, I"m willing, but how are you ever going use me. That morning left for my exersice
class and just as I got up there I saw this truck with the letters
COMPUTER HELP and his telephone #. I still couldn't believe
what I saw till after class I copied down the number and
made a call. I did some reference checking. From a teacher
I knew I found out the man I had called was a very reliable
Christian I could invite into my home. I got all the help I needed
and more at a reasonable price. Today I have moved, but get
e-mails. I still need help, but have more sources. As to my
promise, I'm still willing.

Absolutely. Some say How do I know when I am hearing from God. Well I do know a very few (2 infact) who have audibly heard a voice but most don't. It is the quiet whisper of the soul but unlike your own thoughts. It is a peace about something that you are more certain about than anything you could have ever thought of on your own. Like when you were called to God and knew in your heart that this wasn't you coming up with this stuff. We often don't hear because we don't take time to listen.

Yes there are many times I feel God speaking to me. There are many times I feel convicted because I did not do what I felt he wanted me to do- like sharing the gospel with a particular person when I could of....or even small things, like taking a different way home- then finding out there was an accident on the road I would of taken...it is times like those that I am reminded that God does send his angels charge over those that love Him...that he is my shield and protector~
2 Samuel 22:31
" As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tested; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
And I love this verse!>
Isaiah 30:21
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

I talk to God all the time, not just in the morning or evening. And He always talks to me.. Sometimes it's a feeling, sometimes it's through something I read or hear on TV.

Absolutely He talks to me - but not in the conventional dialogue way. I talk to God like He's my Daddy or my best friend; not just by praying, but just talking, like I would to anyone. I share my frustration, my concerns, my elation, everything with Him.
Last night was a PERFECT way of how God spoke to me. I was feeling really upset at the loss of my friend, and I had gone to watch MNF to get my mind off of it. Well, our chapelin came in and brought it up again, hugging me and telling me everything would be alright. I was through crying for the day, but I just told God that I was upset. I asked why. He knew that I didn't understand and that I was in pain. But...as I was walking up the stairs to my dorm, I heard a guitar playing outside and went to check it out. It was about 7 girls from my dorm praising God and singing love songs, trying to find peace and comfort in the hard times. Every single one of those songs spoke to me and helped me understand that Katie is in a better place and not to cry anymore.

The New Testament tells us we can enter God’s presence because Jesus paid for our sins and reconciled us to God by his death on the cross (Hebrews 10:19-22). Through Christ, said the apostle Paul, we have “access to the Father by one Spirit” (Ephesians 2:18).
The operation of the Spirit is the key to prayer. That’s because a spiritual prayer cannot be offered unless it is motivated by this Spirit the "Holy Spirit of God."
I can say that God hears all people’s prayers, simply because he is God. Jesus tells us that God gives the rain and sunshine to all, even the unrighteous (Matthew 5:45).

I talk to God pretty much all day long. And I don't have the "feeling" that He is talking back to me. What God says to my heart is so tangible that I could never deny it. Once you know God, you don't have to rely upon your feelings. Feelings can fool you, God 's Word can't. Peace.

I had an intense dream after my father died (I was 12). He was in my dream and we both knew that he was dead. I asked him straight out "Is there a God?" He said "Yes." I pray every day just to know Him and to be my friend. I am a Protestant. I recommend two books written by a Rabbi - but endorsed by Catholics: "Man is Not Alone" "God in Search of Man" It is like a fantastic roadmap to know God. Some Catholic order holds conferences devoted to these books. I forget which one. God has appeared to me in my dreams - like a voice behind a wall and given me guidance. Continue your journey. Bless.
