Forget the contemporary of Mohammed, his "words" were put to paper long after his death, all originals are destroyed. The Bible "originals" are debatable, many have been amended, deleted, inserted, distorted, and re-created. You are more likely to find truth in historical research than in any so-called holy book As for Moses, well you would never believe it!

There are three original manuscripts of the Qur'an. One in a museum in Turkey, one I believe in Egypt, and I can't remember where the third. There are also many very early manuscripts of parts of the Quran scattered around the world, including Yemen, Iran, Jerusalem, Bahrain, London, France, Chicago, Ireland and Russia.

The Jews especially - even today had strict rules when copying the TaNaKh (Christians call the Old Testament) so if you find a Jewish Bible (in Hebrew) that would be original (although new!)

Museums might have the actual ancient manuscripts!

"First Editions" of a holy book?
There are many holy books out there. Which one are you interested in?

Texts originated by contemporaries of Moses (3,500 years ago)
or Jesus (2,000 years ago), or Mohammad (most recently) all precede the invention of the Printing Press. You can find them in manuscript form in museums around the world.
Happy hunting, world traveler !
