it is "popularly" known that religion make people feel more united between themselves. and of course, God itself.
But... you people dont think that maybe religion is just another wealth business that fools people telling them who to pray and stuff like that? maybe the church is fooling everyone to its own benefit... and a very few people know the truth...
if you think deeper into this... you can see through all history... religion is practicaly the principle cause for all racism and consequently WAR.
maybe is something behind all this that most people dont know... or maybe society is so much sticked up with all this that they dont even listen to another point of view. demonstrating the huge ignorance within us...

what do you think about religion? (please, be real... dont try to make it sound glorius and blah blah... we dont live like that... be realistic)

Can a person actually 100% not believe in God? Is that even possible? Does doubt count as belief? How do we know what we each believe in total? We profess, we act, but who believes more or less than another in anything that is used as a word? What makes you more or less comfortable around other people, that they wonder if you are going to eternal damnation or that they can build confidence that your mistakes are really unavoidable and either embrace you or contain you so that you don't cause the end of civilization from whatever dysfunction that you may carry?

In the parable in Judges Judges 19:1-29, was the man who murders and dismembers his concubine after she was gang raped, performing god's will? Since she was thrown out of the house by the old man to be raped and abused, surely she was a whore, right? Therefore the man must have been doing the right thing by killing her.

Not Islam. I hear a lot of comments about how mislead christians are because some tell them they are going to hell. But as far as I know they haven't physically harmed them. Some muslims would behead them in the streets. Notice I didn't say all, just some.

the poision that oftens threatens the purity of our hearts is lust. to lust is to crave something sexually that God has forbidden.
ex. as a single man looks at a women who is not his wife (which means every women) and immorally fantasize about her, he is lustingt.
even though society condones and expects it , we need to stop it. God states that when somone look at a woman/man lustfully, whether on the street, on a billboard, or in a movie, that peason is actually comming adultery with her/him in their heart (matthew 5:28)

I AM A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL
i rember the anger and disgust i felt wn i get hit on. i was outraged to have served as the object of thier lust, to have thier eyes crawling over me. it was so wrong, so filthy.

NEW YORK (AP) _ A British philosophy professor who has been a leading champion of atheism for more than a half-century has changed his mind. He now believes in God -- more or less -- based on scientific evidence, and says so on a video released Thursday.

At age 81, after decades of insisting belief is a mistake, Antony Flew has concluded that some sort of intelligence or first cause must have created the universe. A super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature, Flew said in a telephone interview from England.

Flew said he's best labeled a deist like Thomas Jefferson, whose God was not actively involved in people's lives.

"I'm thinking of a God very different from the God of the Christian and far and away from the God of Islam.....

"My whole life has been guided by the principle of Plato's Socrates: Follow the evidence, wherever it leads."

Having someone read it to you at school or church does not count. How many of you who claim to know so much about the religion have actually read it's most holy book? I'm guessing the percentage is way below 1%.
